Well, my knees have def. flared up & just done some on line research. I shouldn't do squats or lunges so guess no point me getting Shred :). Also says I shouldn't do steppers so won't be going on new machine :(, and am wondering if even doing step on wiifit is a good idea  - it is a very small step though! Am thinking of getting knee braces so I can carry on doing the exercises recommended - and wondered if anyone has experience of magnetic knee braces? A bit New Agey, but if they are knee braces they will help anyway & the magnetic side may help??????

Good luck with decluttering Hypno - though now you are so skinny you don't need as much space :rotfl:

Ooh, a declutter challenge! Mind you, I think even if 10 things a day left this house even for 10000 days it would never be clutter free... :rotfl:

Cocalls, glad your baby is growing :j

Day 7 of Shred done :j:j As usual, I was interrupted in the middle of it by Mr Daffs getting up, so had to move rooms, then there was a builder unloading van right outside the window (no net curtains), so probably wasn't as enthusiastic as I could have been! :rotfl: Ah well, I suppose it all counts, even if you don't do it with an enthusiastic and gleeful heart... :rotfl:

10 items a day will leave this house. If items come into the house (other than groceries), then I have to offset them against the amount going out, so there has to be a NET 10 items a day leaving the house one way or another.

A box of paperwork will only count as 1 item.....no ability to cheat by shredding 10 pieces of paper, or binning 10 envelopes. This has to be done properly.

Putting stuff on ebay or amazon doesn't count until it is actually packed up and at the post office.

So.....although I have just over 100 days available to me, I will start today because I need to give myself all the time that I can!!

Wish me luck - this is a mammoth task:rotfl:

Good luck!! I am on day 8 of a 100 day clutter clearing challenge too - however it sounds liek yours is a lot harder than mine:rotfl:!

I have been counting things as listing on freecycle rather than collected, and one bit of paper at a time :o, sometimes it is the only way I can convince myself to chuck out that individual piece is that it counts towards the challenge! Plus NET :eek: I did bring in a box of dressing up clothes and baby annabel clothes for DD the other day!

Hi Hypno, glad you had a good holiday. Even though you are tired it sounds like it was worth it as you had a good time and many memories made. You can never beat memories as gifts for people. They can be made with the smallest amount of money but last a lifetime. My fondest memories of my Mum and Dad are when we were on holidays or days out and those memories take over from any of the turmoil that we went through at times.

As for your 100 day challenge. I am also challenging myself in the thread Challenge to finish a challenge. My challenge is to completely declutter the spare room. Well it is currently a junk room and I cant even open the door but I really want it to be a guest room by the end of August. I am also considering taking in a student lodger next year but I havent completely decided on that one yet. So my challenge is 31 days. But before I can move things out of that room I need to declutter other rooms to make storage space for all of those things that OH cant bear to part with. One step at a time

I am still resisting the Shred but my resistance is been broken slowly.:rotfl:
