Hypno - maybe you could do a script to fool us that we've been doing Shred, similar to the hypnotherapist who convinces people they've had a gastric band?!? Jillian might want to throttle you but you'd make a bomb

I think you do that on level 2. With 3kg weights suspended on each finger. While doing star jumps. On a trampoline. Upside down
Oh gallygirl this truly made me chuckle, must have lost at least six jaffa cakes in weight laughing so hard. Glad the boys are out, couldn't even begin to explain.
Hypno, I really really need to get a grips on grocery budgeting, I'm entering the weezl thread and attempting the grocery challenge this month. I know this is common ground with you so here goes..DC.

Good luck with the grocery challenge, DC. I am having a really tight month in August, and for various reasons I need to really keep a tight rein on my finances for a while. Groceries is one area that I find can easily spiral out of control, so it seems the obvious area for me to focus on.
My envelope system is still working beautifully though - that has really helped over the last couple of months so I will be looking to continue that for the time beingSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Ooh, you're doing so well! And lol at all you new Shreddies
Keeping Motivated - after 3 days of Shred I'd lost 2lbs and an inch off my waist :j  I'll be weighing in again on Saturday (day 10), so will let you all know...
(and Yes, I did skip today! Did plenty of other things though, and lots of cycling, so didn't do too bad - and in fact I almost missed it, and *almost* considered (at 6.15 this morning) getting a later train to work so I could squeeze it in before I went.....) :rotfl:0 -
Oh My Goodness - I am having trouble walking today :rotfl:
Going upstairs is fine but going down is agony :rotfl:
Trying to sit on the toilet is agony :rotfl:
Sitting down at work for an hour and then walking around is agony :rotfl:
Then....
I did it all again tonight and that was agony as well :rotfl:
DH and DS and DD tried to do it with me tonight, I could not stop laughing :rotfl:. DH has a few medical issues so only managed about 6 minutes :rotfl:, he says tomorrow he will try everything but cardio as he has a lung problem.
I really enjoyed it and it seemed to go quicker than last night - I suppose because I know what I am doing. When we finished I was shocked.
I am going to measure myself tomorrow and then every 4 days to see what the measurements are like.
Thanks again Hypno :T

It DOES get easier, and that 20 mins does go quickly!

Bleurgh. That is the best way of describing this morning.

Hypno - Are you ok? Is it lack of sleep combined with being extra busy in the day or are you ill?
Serious Question Alert!!!
When do thighs stop hurting?
Today it is more painful than yesterday.
I appreciate I have only done 2 days but I thought I was fitter than this!!

Give it another couple of days and the thighs will get used to it, honest!
I'm ok, just rather tired. Last weeks "holiday" was fairly active, and still with early mornings etc....on my feet all day etc, so not exactly relaxing, then as soon as I got home I picked up the student, so still need to be getting up early for him, plus have a million and one things to get done this week, that don't stand a chance of being done once I get back to work!
So, nothing more than that. I do have a heavy head, and have done so for a day or so, but I think it is pure tiredness.
I am supposed to be recording again today, but I may have to pull out which I don't really want to do. I shall see how I feel when I have had more coffee.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
