10 items a day will leave this house. If items come into the house (other than groceries), then I have to offset them against the amount going out, so there has to be a NET 10 items a day leaving the house one way or another.

A box of paperwork will only count as 1 item.....no ability to cheat by shredding 10 pieces of paper, or binning 10 envelopes. This has to be done properly.

Putting stuff on ebay or amazon doesn't count until it is actually packed up and at the post office.

So.....although I have just over 100 days available to me, I will start today because I need to give myself all the time that I can!!

Wish me luck - this is a mammoth task:rotfl:

Yay ! I remember embarking on this just before Xmas, and although I fell off after a week at least something happened to benefit the space.
I have been building up to this with two things a day, but I'm going for 20 today. Gonna call it compound clutter day !

Having had a c-section myself, I would say STAY AWAY FROM SHRED!

Do some proper post pregnancy yoga instead, once your wound has healed.....and not before!

Shred, for you, can wait for now!

Glad that the baby is putting on weight - 3lbs 6 is excellent, and I hope all is well xxx

phew that's got me out of shredding then-know there had to be a silver lining somewhere.

Cocalls - I'm glad to hear the baby's doing well, and you'll be able to all be at home together soon.

Hypno - hurray, another declutter! I only have two weeks left in this house now - exactly, actually, this time in a fortnight the removal men will be here, so I'm decluttering for all I'm worth :) the key to me is "useable space" - ok, cupboards are meant to put things in, but floor space is meant to be open. And that feels *really* good.

As I couldn't get a courtesy car when mine went into get the nz equivalent of the mot done, I spent extra time at the pool. I am proud to report that i did 50 lengths today, and then walked for 30 mins up to the local shopping mall. Tired now though...
