in the library this afternoon and found an interesting diet book

'the duvet diet'... so needless it jumped into my hand, its all about how not having enough sleep could affect your hormones and hence your weight... will read and report back...

think the duvet diet may clash with the shred...i still haven't started it... sigh.

Is that a qualifier for a freebie matched bet?

Decluttering has started - the odd socks are no more, and 10 glasses that don't fit in my cupboard are gone. Half a dozen pairs of old shoes/football boots etc that don't fit DS are in the box for the charity shop, along with some clothes of Dads that have been through the wash, and half a dozen mugs that, again, don't fit in the cupboard.

It is the tip of a very large iceberg though! That much is very apparent!

So, is that 1 item of 10 glasses or 10 items? 6 pairs of shoes or 12 items :D.

Sorry H, too late with bets. It's such a dead cert I've already paid out :rotfl:.

I am off to do stick some sticky repair patches on a few items. That means I need to get the iron out

ok - DD has had to have new glasses today , I had to have them yesterday and the immobiliser on the car has gone again. I am destined to spend shed loads of money this week unfortunatley.

Car decided to die again just as i was going out to work but next door neighbour lend me his Bright yellow sports coupe - I have never ever driven so slowly and carefully !!!!

Haven;t heard from DS so guess he isn;t too peed off with the weather!

Off to London tomorrow to see the architecture exhibition at the V & A. Meeting DD's godfather to have lunch at the Serpentine and to see the new pavilion, so looking forward to that!

Hope you all have a good evening

At this point in time, gallygirl, 10 glasses = 1 item.....but if I seem to be running out of steam, then I reserve the right to backtrack and count it as 10 items, so that I can catch up with myself!

Another cupboard has been gone through, and some rubbish has been thrown, and another charity bag has been filled. Plus three items have been found which will make perfect birthday presents for people this month, thereby both decluttering and saving cash on presents :D

Surfbabe - they say things come in threes - so you can relax a bit now! And the black cloud that threatened earlier simply passed over, so I am sure DS has been dry all day!

Enjoy London - sounds a great day. I will be....urm......either decluttering more or painting my lounge
