  • Website as completed as I can get it tonight. All ready to have some content added. And a forum (like I don't have enough to do, without moderating a forum as well... at least a forum for the allotment will probalby hardly get used, except for possibly the people on the waiting list nagging us, so that shouldn't take too much effort, other than the odd bit of spam removal)

3, I've just quoted the relevant bits of the law on that vent thread. There are three separate ways in which WW is liable :)

The caveat is that if the reason for the holiday is deemed to be the fault of the consumer, but I think with independent witnesses there's a clear causative effect of the precipitating incident (the window) from the Bastage Camp volunteer, plus since it's a holiday designed around the needs of children with autism such an incident could plausibly be claimed to be without fault. In any case, a sternly worded solicitor's letter highlighting those sections of the law including a small claims court summons should be more than enough.

    Evening,

    Yeah for sleeping babies.

    Boo for camps

That's as much as I can remember :)

No church for us today as my brother was dropping round a bed for Katie, a full size single, DH is going to construct it tomorrow.

I found my offer letter for work today, and I'M RIGHT, I'M RIGHT I'M RIGHT! :j:j:j They're talking out of their behinds, I have a leave year and I'm in my second one, so I don't owe them any leave at all.

I've made a start on Katie's advent calendar, it was all the boring bits though, hemming the fabric, plotting out layout as there are 12 seperate pictures, yawn yawn.

Oh I've also done the food shopping, lots of specials in Aldi fell into my trolley ready for weekend.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

Just had a look at the vents board, what a appalling story someone has posted! I wonder if the OP meant to title that post H B C*** or H B C***s? Its H B C*** so not googling properly, but does come up on the first page if I google H B C***

God bless Aldi. I love the ridiculous cheapness of their wares! I feel that now I have tried all their sweet and dangerous stuff they should cease to bring out any more, cos I have no need to try it then.

They efficiently deleted me too, even though I didn't post on the FB pages!

I missed that earlier! Hmmm - i'm sure you're not tagged in any of my photos. And I don't think your name was mentioned in the discussion thread because that was a missing post on my copy & paste. Hmmm. *Confused*

My dog may have just posted on the discussion page - can anyone see it.

I did KOA, my work were quite flexible about it though. I just sent off a letter saying what I wanted to work, gave them a choice of days but said what I definitely couldnt do, and they told me what they wanted from there. There are about 30 employees in our one little shop in total though so little old me didnt really make much of a difference anyway!

Work was mental, but it was so lovely to come home to massive mummy cuddles from my little boy. I do feel quite a sense of satisfaction from being back at work, but I'm glad I am lucky enough to only have to go in three days a week.
Afternoon all. We had a fab time at the pool - there was a little slide into the water which Izzy loved, and the rapids were fun too, and there was a jacuzzi :) We're going to try out a different one next week I think. I want to go to one with a wave pool, but I may be outvoted next week - it might have to wait till the time after.

Time to sort out Izzy's tea now, then we need to go to the allotment. I was hoping to take Izzy to the park too, but it looks very threatening out there. I'm not sure we will want to do anything other than water in the greenhouse and come home again. It is the allotment show tomorrow. Elvis is playing, and I'm entering 2 kinds of chutney, plus DH is going to enter our largest marrow and some beetroot :)

Glad you enjoyed the Rapids. Let me know if you find a good wave pool anywhere around here. I would love to take H. He's going to love the pools at Center Parcs next week. I have no idea what he will make of swimming outdoors!

Anyone had to do this before?

I submitted a flexible working application, then had a meeting with my boss and discussed the pros and cons. I spent some time before the meeting thinking through what I thought their objections would be and coming up with solutions/answers to these and tried to be as flexible as possible.
