WHY do people insist on popping in for a visit on a Sunday night?

I had to text some friends who were 'coming over with cake' and say 'I'm sorry, I have a lab report to do, clothes to sort out, bags to pack, paperwork to get done and a shower'. Then MIL and FIL dropped in. Think MIL was hinting for a cuppa but I just kept on sorting out stuff and she got the hint. Well FIL did and dragged her home.

People never pop in on me Tia... Except my sister who has a disgusting habit of ringing the house phone and going "are you in, we're on our way over" so you can't even pretend to be out because she rang the house phone... And you get 10mins tops to tidy up... And she's one of these people that looks down her nose at every crumb on the carpet... While her son climbs all over the sofa in his muddy shoes...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

It's gone off HBC already, I wonder if they've set up an email alert?

Have a look in their discussions. On two of the pages I didn't get an option to comment, even as my mum, but was able to post a discussion.

ETA: EA, I was about to say the same. What did she say this time?
