    Sounding more and more like a thing for a Watchdog-type program again rather than solicitor, 3 :( how very miserable. Good luck, not sure what to suggest really.
  • Just about to read back, but before I do (in case I forget!), for those of you that moaned about me not having photos (yes MFD, I mean you :p), I have now uploaded my most recent pics to my facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/album.php?aid=203066&id=700166657 ). Also managed to get a couple of photos of A trying on her new school uniform ready for next week.

    I've already had a nose :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    We had that bouncer! Do you use the teddy bar at all? I loved the way that I could watch Benjamin develop by how he was reacting to / interacting with the teddies!!

    3 - am I right in thinking that:

    - the 'person/company' you made the booking with

    is different to

    - the 'person/paypal account' that you paid

    and both are seperate to

    - the 'person/volunteer' whose solicitor you have received an email from.

    I made the booking with RMc who runs WW company who run/ran the Bastage Camps.

    I payed RMc @ WW via Paypal.

    Just before we went , RMc emailed everyone to say she and WW now have nothing to do with Bastage Camps and she's passed everything over to GN.

    The solicitor is acting for GN.

    The big american bloke RI, started the camps in the US, but "i run something called the bastage foundation in the usa. the work we do certainly provides the method and inspiration for the methodology of the uk camps but we dont organise, take money, nor earn money from them. i have volunteered on some camps myself but a relative minority."

    Is that clear as shoite now! :p

    its oh so quiet!!!! I have found an amazing childminder and she is taking erin on a thurs for me :D she has taken her today until lunch time to see how she settles and the for a full day from next week!!! She is an older lady with 14 of her own grown up children and she also looks after another little girl the same age as Erin. I have lots to do just feel a little lost lol :D

    3 i would go all guns blazing and go public with this, they have had more than enough time to sort this out and sending things by email is rather strange?

    Bruno the new job sounds great but i would talk to new boss or other employees of that dep to see how things could be sorted?

    SS i will be heading to asda later today so will let you know :D
    What's for you won't go past you

    Thank you Caz, that is super kind of you.

    :j for the new CM, I hope they have a great time together (but :eek: at 14 children!)

    3, sending important communication by email is very dodgy.

    [STRIKE]Good[/STRIKE] morning everyone. :mad:

    Bastage camp update - email from her solicitor;

    Dear 3

    I do appologise for my delay in responding. I have considered the material in detail and whilst I and my client remain very sympathetic to your predicament, there can be no question that any liability rests with her.

    I hope that you will appreciate that my client was only a volunteer helper at the time. Whilst she has taken steps to continue the good work she did not take over any business as a going concern. What she is involved in now is therefore a fresh "entity".

    My client wishes matters to be left at that as there would be no purpose in lengthy protracted correspondence. She hopes you will appreciate this point and let matters rest. Threats of press advertising will only distressall parties more.

    I hope matters can rest here but if you are otherwise minded please consult your own solicitor.

    Kind regards.

    Bastage Camp poor unfortunate volunteers Solicitor

    :(

    I can't believe this crap. They soooo deserve to be publically shamed. 'Going to the press will only distress all parties' - well, some parties deserve to be distressed after the distress they've cause your family!

    We do have the bar, but F prefers to chew on the teddies, especially the dark brown one - he carts it around by the ear.
