Will do Gill. I think the main thing is calorie intake (for me).

Well the muppet has gone in now, so [STRIKE]if [/STRIKE]when the police turn up they will probably just drive off again without investigating it.

Goodnight all, off the spend some time with hubby after ive looked at who is giving away free stuff with the child trustfund voucher.

Caz - really pleased that your counselling session went well and happy birthday for your daughter, hope she's had a nice day. Just out of interest, what sort of presents did she want/get? A's 5 on the 1st October and I don't really know what to get her, and she's useless at giving suggestions!
She has a lot of the Teeny Tiny Families(when they arent hoovered up:o) so she got a big roller skate and a few little ones and a burger bar moon dough set. She did ask for these, we will be taking her horse riding as you have to be 5 here and its been a long 2 years :rotfl: i am terrible for ideas so was very happy she told me what to buy!

i think i may wake up with black eyes tom:eek: i was spinning Charlie around and he accidently headbutted my nose, my eyes hurt and my noise is killing me!

Hugs for awful neighbours, i know we had nosey neighbours who were pains but cannot imagine how hard it must be with neighbours from hell???
Its been a long day so im off to bed, i have to start doing a sleep diary and a feelings diary, they will have me carted off with the men in white jackets next week :rotfl:
What's for you won't go past you

    – it was only because she was super tired. Mind you I was an even meaner mummy tonight, she was messing about when I was trying to settle her down to read, the straw that broke the camels back was when she started laughing at me so I left the room, cue tears, I did explain that it was because of her behaviour I had to go up 3 times, she’s asleep now though. It helped that DH was on the phone at the time so he couldn’t interfere when she was crying J

    JM
    – thanks for the link, I’ll bear it in mind as she’s got my attention span when it comes to jigsaws (non existent) so hopefully this will catch her attention.

Naughty Steps – Kate was almost 2 when we started using it with her, all violent behaviour means no second chances straight to the step for 3 minutes (I use the timer on the oven) any other unwelcome attention it 3 chances and she’s out. She does understand the concept as she goes of her own volition during a tantrum.

    Happy Birthday Abi

  • I'm loving Weezls site as there are lots of things I can get Katie helping with in the kitchen.

I made a pasta sauce tonight that needed the tinned tomatoes squishing, perfect for a 3 year old, decanted into a big bowl sat her at the table and left her to it, 10 minutes later perfectly squished tomatoes ready for the pan.

She was fascinated by the yeast coming to life.

Em, what about a baby cage (we have a travel cot), and if he messes with the sofa put him in it and tell him that if he messes with the cushions he has to go in there?
    emlou2009 wrote: »
Thats a good idea about the travel cot, I might dig ours out from my nans house and try it. We may as well use it for something, he wont sleep in it :rotfl:

We use our travel cot for this purpose too, known lovingly in this house as baby jail:o I try to stop the action immediatley and still use the 1-2-3 method with the older two. K doesn't understand at all yet, but he will grasp it eventually.

With the older two I tell them to stop jumping over the furniture, for example, and let them know the punishment then give them till the count of 3 to stop whatever it is they are doing, or else the punishment is carried out...works 99% of the time:)
