MFD, yeah, in dangerous situations, I remove the child bodily from the situation. Though, I don't do a big explanation, just a simple 'it's dangerous because the tv could fall on you'. But see I hate seeing folk nattering on to a child about how such and such and bad and thats why you shouldn't do it because this and that and then this and you make mummy sad and then this will happen and and and... and they never actually get around to telling the child off. Plus, they can't remember too many points.
