Beenie - I just wanted to say that I'm full of admiration for how you cope.
Me too - I'd struggle just with every day normal life with Alice on my own never mind having to deal with additional things.

DH goes mad when Kian plays at the tv. he moves him away and he goes straight back to it. every time without fail where i have left him to stand at the TV and after a few mins he gets bored and moves onto the next toy.

Katie chose 1 book to look at, I promised to be back in 10 minutes, she was asleep in 5! :j
I'm impressed - that would never work on Alice. She'd either stay sitting up to ensure she didn't fall asleep while waiting or she'd fall asleep and then wake up in the middle of the night crying because we hadn't read the book.

Michelle, I put talc in the folds in S's chin when he was younger and had less of a neck!

If I leave the cushions on the floor he climbs on whats left of the sofa and throws himself headfirst off onto the cushions  which is another of the reasons I dont want him to do it!

Thats a good idea about the travel cot, I might dig ours out from my nans house and try it. We may as well use it for something, he wont sleep in it :rotfl:

We had this when Benjamin was younger. At first we were 'Come away from the TV mate' all the time but then we had a conversation about whether a) he was doing any harm to the TV (unlikely) and b) whether he was likely to hurt himself (unlikely) - so we decided that it wasn't worth us wasting our voices getting him to stop.

    He got over it eventually.

I guess in Tias example he gets lots of adult attention if he keeps going to the TV and gets moved, but gets bored if you leave him to it.

It would depend on the risk as well - if your TV was likely to topple on him then it is definitely worth the effort of moving him!!!
