Ayana just laughed for the first time! I picked her up in her bouncy chair to take her to the kitchen whilst I begin to make the tea and she just started laughing!First baby born 10/06/10:heartpuls 6lb 10z:heartpulsI love my little family0

Lovely Michelle
Holy fook Molly just escaped out of the front door  We have a tiny landing outside and a flight of stairs up and one down. The door was closed but not locked and the storm outside blew the door open. I heard it slam closed and got up to make sure Molly was ok (favourite haunt currently the shoe rack beside the door) and she wasn't there :eek: Opened the door and she was just sitting on the landing looking around.

I have read back, but won't reply until tomorrow as we're off out soon for a celebratory meal.
Very proud dad is all that needs to he said. Achieved far greater than she expected including A*s she never thought she'd get. Very proud of her indeed.0 -

?
Is it a kind of coy smile? Ayana does that to the spare quilt on top of the wardobe in our bedroom. We think that there's a nice angel watching over her... it puts us at ease as she really does freak us out a little!redstararnie76 wrote: »
Well, I officially LOVE MSE. Dan found out on Monday morning that he's got the bank holiday off. It's a lovely, unexpected surprise and because we didn't know he would be off we haven't saved any money up to do anything. But he suggested that it woud be nice to go away for a cheap (ie very cheap - he was thinking £50 for 2 nights!) break to take Amelie's mind off starting school next week. Anyway I searched everywhere and emailed loads of people about late availability, but to no avail. Just as I had decided to give up, I thought it was worth asking on the UK holidays bit, and someone came up with a wonderful 2 nights for the price of 1 deal. So we're off to Newport for the weekend!! Not quite £50, but it's costing us £62 for the four of us to stay for two nights in the Holiday Inn Express, with free breakfasts and I can't wait. Just got to come up with some MSE things to do while we're there! We're not going to tell Amelie until we're on our way - she'll love the idea of us all sharing a hotel room...
Thats great! were trying to book a night in chester on Fri, its my grandads funeral and we thought we would end the day with some family time together in llandudno.Lovely Michelle

Michelle, CAFC - sorry if it's already been mentioned, but why not come and join in with the Baby Weight Shifting Club (- think we're getting a bit thin on the ground at the moment, wish I could say the same!)?. It's here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1778827
