Aww I missed out on the bargain car seat Never mind not like we had anywhere to store it, but I woulda got my discount of it too lol.

Choppy - yeay for Xmas eve hamper I already have a noisy xmas book on my wish list at amazon, and purchased pjs in the sale last year, might do reindeer food so we can take some cute pics and I love the sock idea. Is it sad am already getting excited about Christmas? But I think its a lovely tradition and so does OH too.

Well Struggled to get LO to bed and she really wanted to sleep but with her snotty nose she couldnt get comfy and was snuffling away. Anyhoo I did the very not recomended thing and propped her up on the V pillow and she snuggled down and went to sleep after I sang (badly) frere jaque (sp) to her a couple of times. Dont ask why that song, it just makes her sleep!

I won it anyway £399 playhouse, 12 months old... I got it for £97...

Aimee had stopped all daytime naps by 18months old... She has never needed much sleep...

Thanks PP & Choppy. I'm just finding it strange because J & L both loved their naps, for years! I'm sure they both struggled when they started school because they'd missed out on their lunchtime sleeps. :rotfl:

V has never been very good at napping. Once the newborn stage was over, her naps were only ever 30-45 minutes once or twice a day. Since she's been 1, once a day and the past few weeks once every couple of days.

Unless we're out in the car or pram - when she's asleep before we get to the top of the road whatever time of day it is.

I'm sure she'll get used to the bed soon - and if she doesn't need daytime sleep, there's not a lot I can do about it.

Hugs, Congratulations on GCSE results - my neice got A B and 1 C in hers, so she has got into the 6th form she wanted

Operation get Katie to sleep in her own bed without me sitting on the stairs was a resounding success tonight, helped by no sleep this afternoon.

Routine is:
Couple of Sky+d episodes of Shaun the Sheep whilst drinking a cup of milk
Upstairs teeth cleaning
Into bed, mummy read 2 books
Katie chose 1 book to look at, I promised to be back in 10 minutes, she was asleep in 5! :j

It will all go out of the window tomorrow as DH won't even try it and keeps promising that mummy won't leave her. :mad:

I missed out on the car seat, it's back at full price and out of stock, Katie's current seat goes up to 18kg, I've been looking at Concords.

I think I'm the oldest going by the age of the person you feel (47)

I cant believe people have already started selling those car seats on ebay - it might still be a glitch that doesnt come off, we dont know yet :rotfl:

I have a fairly decent sized room compared to some... But not big enough to take a 5ft playhouse lol... It's for the garden...

I currently have a babydan playpen with a tent over it, a bounce and spin zebra, a little tykes blue rocker, a fisherprice ride on horse thing, a fisherprice learning table and 2 push along walkers... Along with a big toybox...

Not that she's spoilt you understand... <rolleyes>

Choppy How about reindeer poop! We put a little pile of raisins in the corner of the room, in the morning when we 'found' it, I was disgusted and moaning on about how rude Rudolph was to poop in my house. L thought it was hysterical for years.
