I put the cross trainer away today cos i wanted to see how successful the travel cot would be downstairs for naps, as it happens it's very successfu, she had a proper 2hr-ish nap  And now she's getting mobile it's handy to pop her in it if i need to leave the room...
But now i'm sad because i really need to lose weight and it's much easier to do it here.... but have got no room to put it so dunno what to do
I am definitely going to start dieting, i look a mess and i hate it. I have 3 stone to lose... 0 -

Not as often as I should
my parents tend to come to us, I come down to see my brother and his family every couple of months but it is usually a flying visit.
Keely - did you know that the Bilston Baths do normal Mum and Toddler swimming sessions in the little pool? They do about 3 sessions a week (all when I am at work though
). I was looking at their website earlier and was thinking that you had gone back on the Surestart waiting list - although I guess the normal sessions will be more expensive than the SS ones.
I found Bilston Surestart centre a very strange place (I used to tart around quite a few local ones!) Wednesfield and Bushbury were much more welcoming.
No, I didn't know about that. I'll have a look for that, might be able to get a friend to come along too as it's local.
Did you go to the centre next to the markets? I didn't like it in there! I'm hoping to try the groups at the other one (other side of bilston up towards macdonalds)-i had my anti natal classes there and it seemed ok but it's the people who go that matters
Because I don't drive, I try to stay close to home or at most one quick bus journey (but money's tight sometimes!). Thanks for the info

Oooh good and bad start to the morning, bad cos T has already nipped me twice
but my first La Redoute order is already here, 2 pairs of leggings, 3 vests and 2 dresses for next summer and a real bargain only 20p hehe. No coffee either, tho I only have one a day in the morning to give me a kick start.
question... Do LO's generally learn to crawl and sit up around the same time? I can see T trying really hard to do both and getting so fustrated. Last night when she went to sleep she was trying to crawl round the bed and couldnt get comfy am sure she was asleep too as her eyes were closed all the time. Im sure this is why she is waking so often once she has had her initial 3 hours sleep, cos she is practising. Every time she wakes me up she has wedged her self at either the side or ends of her cot.
Glam - sounds like a good de clutter session.
Aless - have fun packing! I personally dred that part of moving, that and un packing.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Just a quick question!
I was just wondering how old your lo's were when they went into a proper bed or toddler bed?
I think Elliot is almost ready now, but I'm going to put a safety gate on his bedroom door when he does as I'm worried he'll wonder off and end up getting into mischief! He's in a cot bed, so I'll just have to take the sides off for now.
He's almost 2 btw

Keely, I took the sides off Aimee's cotbed about 2 days before her 2nd birthday

Som, I think they tend to have disturbed sleep when they're learning something new... I know Caitlyn's sleep was awful over the few months she learnt to sit, crawl, stand, walk... Hope my La Redoute order comes today!! I did mean to do another one but forgot... Do you think the code will still work?
Caitlyn woke up at 5:45 this morning, but I resettled her and she went until 7:10 which is unusual, she only usually does 30mins after a resettle... Even better than that though, Aimee was awake before her so she played with her for half an hour before she came and asked me for breakfast so I got to lie in bed semi dozing...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Keely, we bought Elijah a bed a couple of weeks before his 2nd birthday but we haven't built it yet. We are scared. Sometime soon though. And agreed, without a gate he will no doubt spend the night ricocheting off walls in the dark, or posting all the books through the catflap, or something.0
