No, I didn't know about that. I'll have a look for that, might be able to get a friend to come along too as it's local.

Did you go to the centre next to the markets? I didn't like it in there! I'm hoping to try the groups at the other one (other side of bilston up towards macdonalds)-i had my anti natal classes there and it seemed ok but it's the people who go that matters :)

Because I don't drive, I try to stay close to home or at most one quick bus journey (but money's tight sometimes!). Thanks for the info :)

    keely.

I went to the one up by the MacDonalds. Some of the women there were okay but it didn't have much of an atmosphere IYSWIM. You can only give it a go and see how it is for the sessions you go to.
    I only went twice :o

Keely, we bought Elijah a bed a couple of weeks before his 2nd birthday but we haven't built it yet. We are scared. Sometime soon though. And agreed, without a gate he will no doubt spend the night ricocheting off walls in the dark, or posting all the books through the catflap, or something.

...scared that when you build it it might collapse?

    ;)

*hopes she remembers the story correctly*

    *sigh*
Was having a text chat this morning with hubby, asking him if he had a good time yesterday and laughing asking if he missed his lovely wifey...he replied that he missed his wifey and child so now I am in a grump with him - I can't express why but does anybody understand? Am I being stupid?

Is it because he didn't call you lovely Mfd?

    You're being daft :p
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Ooh... I can't relate to that... Dave always brings the children into the conversation... Can't say it's ever bothered me... :)

Can somebody pass me the bad mummy hat please? Alfie rolled off the saofa this morningand I was right there. Saw him fall but didn't just get to him in time. I put him right at the back of the sofa while I grabbed my diary from the other side of the room and for about the second time ever did 2 rolls in a row and bang. He's fine though, only cried for about 20 seconds.

We did ok last night, fed at 2am, woke at 6ish but got hubby to go settle him and he went back to sleep. Woke at 7am but I ignored him and he went back to sleep tol 8.30am.

Oh, and yesterday I was sat on the floor with him, held out my hand to him and he grabbed them and STOOD UP! And he was pretty much commando crawling at my mum's yesterday. Moved about a foot forwards. Gosh. Where's my tiny baby gone?

I know I am being unreasonable but I don't know why!! We were having a lovely little chat and then flump I feel all deflated.

I haven't stropped with him, just not replied!

MFD I can't really relate to that either, sorry. I think if you'd been on the phone and asked a sultry "did you miss me? ;) " type question and he replied he'd missed you both I'd feel like that, but not over a text.

Would be worse if he hadn't missed you!!
  • LOL - they all fall off the sofa at some point...once the rolling starts then you learn that you just can't do it anymore. Benjamin fell off on Saturday actually!

Yay for crawling! Before you know it he will be into everything! You need to leave him with all his toys about a foot away from him now ;)

Is anyone watching the Wright Stuff? It's saying that in America good looking, intelligent women can be paid £30,000 for donating eggs!

Aha - I think you have hit the nail on the head, I was trying to be a little bit suggestive so his reply including the baby makes me feel a little rejected.

No wonder men can't work us women out ;) I can't even work myself out.

Now, who's for a trip to America ;):D
