FWIW I used to live 10 mins from the Monkey Forest and my parents live 10 mins max from you and I used to do door to door in just over an hour. It is max 1 hr 20 mins from you.
Lovely night out, restaurant with the whole family then MIL brought all the kids back to ours whilst us adults went for drinkies
I saw the start of the BF thread, I was offended by the OP so I know to leave well alone...please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Good Morning - I slept much better, only woke when OH came in, and up the stairs like twinkletoes.
But V decided 6am was a brilliant time to get up. Does she not understand its Sunday?
Sounds like a good night out MFD was it a special occasion, or just a 'no reason' get together?
Me too I think Beenie.
I had good intentions of being prepared for Christmas didn't I? I bought some body shop bargains in January I think (and used some of those for teacher/leaving presents).
L only wants a new bike, a pony and a laptop - is that all?
MIL promised she wasn't going to go mad this year (like last year!) but has already bought 4 waybuloos and an ITNG water writer thingy.:beer:0 -
I woke up to hear Aimee playing with Caitlyn in the bedroom this morning, was quite sweet... I felt hubby get up and was kind of hoping he'd just get up with them... But he went for a wee and got back into bed... He did tell me I could get back into bed in when C goes for her morning nap... I was planning on going to church this morning but have a right headache above my eye
You have my sympathies on the over enthusiastic MIL 3... Did I mention last christmas only 1 member of DHs family bought Caitlyn a present? and it was a packet of baby wipes?

Morning
Haven't had a chance to read back yet, just wanted to say that my Somerfield/Co Op has huggies nappies (mine only had size 5's) BOGOF....Not sure if any other sizes are in the offer though, but might be worth a look if anyone has a store local:)
xxUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

I will be one of them soon by the looks of it. This one DOES NOT want to wear a nappy this morning. They don't do toilet training in her room at nursery though, so she will have to hold on for a few more weeks. She goes up on the 6th September and I was hoping to give her a few weeks to settle in first, but I'm not sure we will get away with that long a wait now!
I have a real grump on my hands this morning. I'm not sure what the problem is? Cuddles and milk might fix it, you never know!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Ours had 3's, 4's and 5's.
But I looked at the shelf label, and on the offer price, i think it said it worked out at 13.?p per nappy. 19.? before the offer. Is that still expensive?
Or have I been spoilt with the Costco offers when they're 10.? p per nappy?
Krystal I remember the christmas present well - did they wrap it? Why on earth would you choose to buy a baby a pack of wipes?!?:beer:0 -
Asda baby event pampers usually end up about 10p a nappy I think...
Yes they wrapped it, and I had to open it... In front of everyone... It was pretty hideous... It was BIL... and he's a bit simple... He was the one Hubby's mother was fixated on with the munchausens so he was uneccesarily medicated a lot as a child and now has an alcohol problem so he can be forgiven a lot of idiocy... He was obviously in the local poundshop and it didn't have a lot of choice in the baby department...
Incidentally, the girls came back from the safari park and the In Laws had bought Aimee a panda teddy but not got Caitlyn anything... I thought that was a little off...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Morning! Pretty rubbish night here so hopefully we can grab a nap together later today. All made better though when I was greeted with a wide-eyed smile and a crystal clear shout of Mama this morning
.
legendary? why so good? do you think they'd work with rolled wheat instead of oats? (I have to avoid oats)
The recipe uses condensed milk which keeps them really soft and gooey. No idea if they would work with anything other than oats though, but probably worth a try. It's an OS recipe- I can dig it out if you like?
Not sure where to go this morning as it's rainy and horrid, and being sunday nowhere is open for hours. Might risk a Farmer's Market with a brolly.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
zzzzzzzzzzz how do you explain to an 8 month old that mummy's first grown up night out in 5 weeks (and that was the first in months!) is not an appropriate night to have a 2 hour screaming fit at 2am!?? Gisi - wish I'd got greeted with a smile at quarter to 7 and not more screaming. Thomas is soooooooo clingy at the mo, it's doing my head in as dp can't settle him at all so while he's still in bed, I am trying to function on 5 hours sleep - have dad's staff payroll to do today and also need to make them redundant this week too. My brother obviously is helping me in closing the business down...oh, no, hang on, he's not:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: because I am on maternity leave and therefore have nothing to do.0
