I've just listed my Grandads reel-to-reel tape recorder on ebay for my parents and I am already obsessively checking the auction every 5 mins. I will be a nervous wreck by the time the auction ends :rotfl:. Now my Mum is thinking of loads of other things she could list to get rid of them. They are not bothered about making much money from things, the just don't like throwing things away and want to give them to a good home instead. It is a good thing they live in a big house, as they have half of my Grannys furniture they are saving in case anyone wants it, and they are now filling the place with Grandads stuff too - they will be moving in with us because there is no room for them in their own house at this rate .
My parents in law pay for storage for this reason. I dread to think about what it'll be like sorting out their house when they die - my cousin took months to sort my AUntie's house and their is worse.

Susan - please don't try to engage Ceridwen on the breastfeeding thread, she'll only upset you. She's one of those people "I say it's wrong because it offends me therefore it is wrong and you are offensive to me".

Read the BF thread, sat there shaking my head at some of the comments but managed to restrain myself - I think they'd lynch me if they knew what my signature meant

Ceridwen is nice enough, but she is very opinionated. She's a big follower of weezl's and was on the CFR thread for a little while...

but I haven't read the post/thread, nor do I care to or I will feel annoyed enough to get involved.

I've known people say that allowing your child to breastfeed as long as they want is sick, twisted and bordering on child abuse. I can't imagine she can come up with anything worse than that.

That's about the extent of it, and while I'm sure she's lovely in normal conversation I keep coming across her in breastfeeding threads and the implication is always that breastfeeding is the same thing as stripping in public only with a spurious reason so you don't get arrested.

SS, I read it. Ridiculous - GISI was a huge SNAP in calling her out on healthy and natural eating. I wanted to cheer!!!!
