I really need to start thinking about what to get Katie, it's hard though as she gets so much from everyone else.

I've been looking at different breeds of cats today, just because I like cats, I've fallen in love with Russian Blues and Turkish Vans, they are both stunning.

DH nearly passed out when he thought I was thinking of getting another (we already have 3), I just replied just researching for the future there were some super cute kittens though.

After my super late night last night I'm falling asleep now so I'm off to bed.

See you tomorrow at some point.

I've had a lovely evening playing with my boy and baking lots of nommy goods. I've done my legendary flapjacks and courgette muffins. Nom, nom!
legendary? why so good? do you think they'd work with rolled wheat instead of oats? (I have to avoid oats)

Anyone good at beauty? I need to dye my hair, and wax/dye my eyebrows and dye my eyelashes. I cba to do it myself and I can't get in my local salon? Aarrgghhh.

Youve just reminded me I need to go for an eye test, I didnt go during my pregnancy as your hormones can affect your eyesight apparently??? I can do hair, but Im only brave enough to do my own eyebrows... Many a time I have spent the day with whitening toothpaste on my eyebrows after dying my skin!:eek::eek: It works in the end though.

Michelle - I;m GM. Which part of Manchester are you in if you don't mind me asking?
    !

Rochdale.. its classed as Greater Manchester. I grew up in Moston/Blakely though. Are you local? (By the way, please dont judge a book by its location! :p)
They went to the West Midlands Safari park... Apparently a camel stuck it's head through Aimee's window and ate one of her sylvanian families off her lap... Aimee went hysterical and FIL had to get out of the car and rescue the sylvanian family cat before she'd calm down... And then she wouldn't open the window again lol...

Well, Ayana is back into her routine and even put herself to sleep on the sofa because I wasnt quick enough getting her upstairs! (Having a very late tea.)

I was going to ask, our hoover is bobbins and I could suck up more muck than its managing at the moment. Does anyone know of a good hoover that isnt a Dyson as they cost too much!

Argh, it got to 10:45pm and i decided i've had enough of Amber staying up so late (esp. when she's just destructive and twisty) so i put her in her cot wide awake. She cried for 45 mins solid and then finally fell asleep.

However she's whinging now.... She doesn't need milk or anything and she's had calpol for poss teeth pain, so to cry for that long is just plain stubborn IMO lol..

I am going to go and see her now... she prob does need a drink after all that whining.

edit - oh well that failed.. LOL - she was in the bed with DS, he must have put her in the bed for a cuddle cos of her crying :o He shouted at me and said i was being nasty so i told him to blugger off and leave me in peace :rotfl:

Michelle - I live in Stretford, right near Trafford Centre. I've only lived here for 4.5 years so I don't know too much about your area. DH used to work for Zen Internet which is on the outskirts of Rochdale next to the big garden centre.

Beenie - your DS is soooo sweet with Amber

hehe i know, he's lovely with her but she's at risk of being totally mollycoddled by the two of us combined!! I never imagined he'd ever be so protective of her already, and so involved with looking after her. <3 Got to sort her sleep out though, but it might help if i didn't bring her in my bed every morning for her milk and then doze, boring her back to sleep til 10am

Caz, my mam used to offer me a length of string and a doorhandle ;)

I live around the corner from Zen! :) Rdale is ok (where I live) but some parts are full of young idiots and the council seem to group them all together! Do you have united fans in your house then? ;)

Salt water? I know its disgusting but it sometimes works. Or really strong alcohol like whisky or something? Hope it gets better soon.
