mel, I was wondering when you'd get to Alton Towers!
I hope your boys love their surprise!
I wanted to wait until near the end of the holidays, otherwise they forget and think they haven't done anything all holidays. By doing it at the end it is still fresh in their mind and cancels out the 'not doing much' the rest of the time;)
All we have done is trips to various parks, swimming once a week and then the big trip out at the end will convince them they have had great summer holidays, something for them to tell their friends:DUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Thanks lovely, but once I have no glasses on I can't see a thing! Plus I'm so fair I know I'd end up looking like a clown as I've left it too long. This is why I get someone to do it for me.
You are so wise...unlike someone we all know who spent 5 mins of a 10 min hair dye development time not realising that she had dye on her eyebrow! Eek!
Just randomly remembered that Bruno said he might be tempted into driving up to the monkey forest. Please come Bruno, I NEED to meet Eplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Michelle - I;m GM. Which part of Manchester are you in if you don't mind me asking?
We've got DH's friends to stay so I'm feeding T upstairs and getting some sneaky internet time in lol. We had a poo from hell earlier which slid straight out the nappy _pale_ and went all over my cushion, duvet cover and duvet. DH's friend has the spare duvet so not sure what we're going to do tonight lol. At least it's pretty warm!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

Sounds like a lovely day. If you're interested in a commission please let me know, I have fabric and pattern and no dressmaker!
I've done everything but remake the bed from my expanded list but I can't get the bottom sheet on cause the mattress is so heavy. I asked Husband to do it and he made sulky-teenager noise so I am a bit
But we will have steak for dinner tonight and that is good nomnomnomOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

We're having chilli done in the slow cooker - I changed the recipe bit so it's not too spicy for Katie - who is currently flaked out next to me.
Most peeved I set up Katies pool this morning as the sun was shining to warm it up and now it's piddling down so DH is unplugging everything. I wielded a screwdriver within an inch of the side of the pool and didn't damage it.Proud to be dealing with my debts

I am so oldmy fun hobby is my family tree and I am thinking of treating myself to some decent pots and pans for my birthday
where did it all go wrong...
For xmas last year i got a hoover and a veg steamer (:j) and i would love nothing more than a fancy pot and pans set.
We need some new ones, i think i only have 2 at the moment and a very big frying pan (from asdas fancy range)
Oh and im 21, so i think im getting old too.
Infact earlier i saw two girls with the same flower headband in and i said to DH, "I keep seeing all these girls with this flower thing, is it a new craze? Im sure i wont get into it" and he said it was because im old.
Apparently, being a mum adds 20yrs and being married adds 10yrs, so im technically 51 :rotfl:
Then later on we discussed how we dont like all this new music
Gill, i dont think the jumperoo takes up to much room, we have it in the corner of the room and tend to store her toys underneath when she's not in it.
We went to the seafront today to see an Ultrasaurus, its a big metal dinosaur that is there for some reason. Something arty probably.
Its not that great
We have take out tonight, to celebrate Saturday DayWe make up celebrations to justify our love of pizza

We (me and my friends) have a term "young people's music", which we have been using since we were about 18. I stick to radio 2 - much safer that wayIsabella Molly born 14th January 2009

I really should know better than to read breastfeeding threads.... at least this current one is just stupid-annoying, rather than insulting annoying but still. I won't look back incase it has gone the other way!

DH said to me the other day that he likes some of Lady Gagas songs and i was like  your too old!
:rotfl:
He's only 22
I was very shocked earlier, we were walking behind 3 chavvy kids, they looked about 12/13. And one of the girls said to the boy "I cant believe your cheating on Mercedes"
I was like "He has a gf!? And they know what cheating is!?"0 -
