  • Evening all,

I had a 'doctors appointment' ;) this afternoon and we popped round to see my friends and their 2 year old girls. My friends daughter really has a thing for Benjamin and was chasing him round trying to kiss and cuddle him the whole time we were there :rotfl::rotfl:

Benjamin kept saying 'no' and running away and the little girl kept coming to me saying 'he's running away' as if she expected me to keep him still for her to smother him :rotfl:

Then he had a lovely time parading around the house in my shoes when he came home!

  • em - just take him, don't tell OH before you go (just in case he is right that Seth won't sit still) and then revel in your boys goodness and new 'do' when you return.

I would go to your local 'blue rinse' brigade if I were you, and first thing in the morning sounds like an excellent idea.

Jealous Aless - wish I was joining you but it was all far too expensive :(

GISI, you can freeze unbaked biscuit dough you know, either precut between layers of baking paper and sealed in plastic or else in a roll and you slice it up before you bake it.

Emlou I took Jake for his first haircut when he was about 14months old, he actually sat really still, just started playing up towards the end but he looked sooo grown up afterwards, he really needed it doing though it was so long!!! jasmines hair is really long im contemplating getting her a fringe put in lol, she's quite shy around people she doesnt know so i think for that reason she may sit still on my lap in the hairdressers.

jake is better now i can hear him jumping on his bed though!! ive shouted up twice and he's still doing it lol!!!

MFD I totally agree. The way he just snapped at me I wasnt going to mention it again anyway TBH. I figure he hasnt got a lot of hair cos he's only got a little head so it wont take long, and its better than when OH did it last time and he was chasing him up and down the living room snipping off the odd curl here and there til it looked reasonably even!
We have a walk in hairdressers called Supercuts here, wouldnt go there for my own haircut :o but I'd assume they get lots of kids in there cos of its walk in nature IYSWIM? Meh. All I know is my boy is currently a massive scruff and needs sorting :rotfl:
