  • Do you think it was just a fault with the Trunki you had MFD or a design flaw that caused the bit to snap off? Would you order another one?

Our local Boots Mini Mode department was very disappointing. I got a couple of t-shirts for next year and some socks but there was very little left.

Tesco have some nice little craft sets reduced to £2 (from £4) if anyone is looking for stocking fillers for older toddlers/younger children. I got my niece kits to make a fairy princess castle and a bunch of flowers!

i would bundle the used clothes and i think you will be surprised at what they make! i would probably have a BIN on the new with tags clothes, i have also found that if you put in the listing you will combine postage that people are more likely to buy more than one outfit :D

I think the bundles sell better on ebay. Personally I like to pay a postage price which gets me a fair bit of stuff. By the time you've added up all the postage for seperate items it costs quite a bit.

I got Josh one of the keyring and badge-making set from Tesco the other day. It kept him busy for a couple of hours!

I bought a little santa outfit from M&S last year in the sale. I've kept the tags on it - it was too small for C, and I'm going to ebay it in December. Only cost me £1!

i have 2 trunki's (ladybird and tiger) and they are very robust so any problems i'd reckon were a fault with that one item.. ours have been overstuffed, thrown about, stood on.. etc.. I love them and the girls think they were their best christmas presents

  • I would list outfits individually Rmac, especially if they are GAP, Next, John Lewis, Mini Mode etc, then bundle anything like sleepsuits. Also have you considered selling through an NCT Nearly New Sale? You get 70% of the sale price but I found that things from good brands well for a reasonable price.

    Morning everyone :)

I wrote a long post yesterday but when i cliked submit MSE was down for repairs. So its gone.
All i remember is the photo of Beenies Amber and thinking Awww :D

I see someone mentioned Free listing on ebay this w/e? Its only for certain members. You need to be invited to it from ebay.
    link
Only sellers who receive an email from eBay inviting them to participate in this promotion (21-22 August 2010) are eligible. The email invite is non-transferable.

    I didn't get the email :(

    Official Congrats to Susan! :j

And i forgot everything else i was meant to say. Lily is currently napping, she fell asleep in her sling on the way home from baby group. We had to leave early because she kept crying :(

They have a really good brand reputation so I wouldn't expect it to be a common problem.

TBH I have absolutely no idea how it could have happened, the case was in the official Trunki box but one of the plastic loops which holds the strap on (designed to be strong enough to pull a kid around with) was completely broken off...the bit was inside the box.

Sainsburys don't have any in stock now, bound to be more expensive when they come back in. It's a good job I wanted it for Christmas rather than hols.

    11 sleeps to go :j:j

thanks ladies - its all outfits. The sleepsuits etc were only fit for the bin or were passed onto the charity shop ;)

I like to think I'm reasonable with my postage costs - it just covers what it costs me and I'll happily combine - thanks for reminding me to say that caz!

off to see when the next NCT sale is. Still unsure about what to ask for things :(

evansangel - thnks for clarifying that. I got an email from ebay and stupidly assumed it would be for everyone :(

MFD - they were out of stock of the pink ones last night, but emailed me today as they had got more stock -still at reduced price. I STILL don't know what to do!
