I have a winding black out blind for Katie, we've had to mount it on a wooden baton though as our walls just above the windows are impossible to drill we have to be careful opening so we don't pull it off.

It does means there's a gap around the edge but it doesn't seem to bother Katie much, as she had the same in our room for the same reason.

Her blind is a pretty pink and ours is dull and boring beige.

Be back in a bit just need to put Dorothy to bed.

According to google maps coming via Stoke Train Station only adds 10 mins onto my journey and is the same number of miles pretty much so would be no problem at all. I'm guessing it will be the same for anyone coming from the M6

Jack went off to sleep on his own and it only took 16 put downs! :T

I read the Baby Whisperer again today and I don't think the CC is suitable as he's still having a bottle in the night so need to work on that before I do the getting off on his own.

HOWEVER, determined not to let him sleep on me I stayed in his room and every time he stood up, I lay him back down. Did it 8 times and he fell asleep but his creaky door woke him up so did it another 8 times and the door woke him again when I went to leave but he settled OK. :j

Just got the night bottle to work on now (he dropped it for a week then started again *rollseyes*)

The WD40 will be coming out tomorrow!

Will try the velcro thing thanks mac!

I got fitted before I went back to work - 34D but I'm convinced boobs are bigger after a week on pill plus I am still bleeding so no more pill for Glam :(

Will sort out getting the diaphragm otherwise I'll end up joining Krystal, MOTM & Pinkpig :)

Get the oil out NOW and put it outside his bedroom door...otherwise if you are anything like me you will be cursing yourself tomorrow night.

Have you thought about singing or shushing outside his door instead? Doing the calming from outside the room was the thing that sorted the whole thing out for us. xxx

Highly productive day today ... while tidying I found a wrapped present - Husband bought me a Wii game for Christmas last year and lost it. It's the active personal trainer, which I really wanted, but it's in German and I asked for an English one :( it might have an English option, but if I open it to test it then we can't take it back. Which to be fair we probably can't anyway because it's almost a year old :(

I just wish he'd think sometimes. I love that he got me something I really wanted, and that he claimed he was spreading my gifts out through the year, but something I can't use is really not ideal.

If it were me I would try it...chances are you will understand what it is saying anyway...just follow the pictures!

And if not, pass it on to a friend who would like it or ebay it xxx

No, not taken any since the last one I posted of him on his car! :o

I was out and something happened or I saw something and thought of you. I went to the library, post office and Boots - it's bugging me now! In fact, I even thought of texting you!

    Ooooo I remember!

Where do you get Benjamins fleecy sleepsuits from?? I can only find thin ones with it being summer

Jack keeps pulling his PJ's off in his sleep and kicks his blankets off so ends up in just a nappy.

While he drops off to sleep he pulls at his sleeves and pulls his arms in and out of them!

  • I have a question for the mummies and daddies of fellow spoon or fork wielders...

At the moment Benjamin is doing quite well in feeding himself but it takes him so long (and he eats so much) that he ends up getting bored before he is full...to the extent that after he had 'finished' his tea last night (sausage, potato, broccoli, cauliflower and peas) he asked for a finger roll (they were on the side) and ate a whole finger roll (dry!) because he wasn't actually full.

Do you keep helping them for a while to make sure they get enough food? And when do you stop?

    Sorry - silly question :o

I think I helped Aimee until I thought she was just being lazy asking me to help her... So probably about 3... Although I don't actually help Caitlyn that much... But she weilds her cutlery for fun and eats with her hands...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Most of ours were Tesco or Sainsburys. I bought a thickish one (padded rather than fleecy) from Matalan the other day - tis very cute with monkeys on.

What size is he in now...I gave some away about a week ago :(
