Som, I sometimes leave my nightie in with Erin so it smells like I'm there when I'm not in bed. Also a tip for when it gets colder is to warm her bed up first with a hot water bottle - just remember to take it out before you put her in.

OH tells all his mates in work about my gaming passion and the guys in my work (who are pervs) just wanted to know what I was wearing whilst playing (yes, they are that bad!)

Anyways, off to bed now. First night in god knows how long J hasn't grumbled! Can't believe I had the book for so long and never read the last chapter about changing habits

Am off to a playcentre with J and Mummy friends and babies tomorrow morning, looking forward to it.

Went to the Cinema in the evening to see Knight and Day (great film btw) and Nana and Grandady sat Tahlie for the first time According to MIL she was perfect She ate her baby rice which MIL made up a bit thicker than normal (after the banana eating we thought it would be better). I have a Joey (mei tai) and a calin bleu wrap, I'm sure they are both ok for up to something like 35lbs, Edgar was 19lb 15oz last week when he was weighed and there is tonnes of growing room in the joey, I can't have him 'arms out' unless I fold it special because he's too small. I had Chris is the wrap when he was almost 2, I reckon he's be ok in it now tbh, although he is the smaller end of average.

MDW Fritha showed me a site that has kids mei tais for £5 I personally say get a scarf like THIS or THIS

Did the canvas turn out well? Were our worries unfounded? Would you buy another?

Benjamin loves those tunnel kind of games! He goes for tunnels that just don't exist and pushes with his hands/head until whatever parental bodily part gives way and makes a tunnel for him...more than once I have thought he was trying to burrow back in when sitting on the floor with him :eek:

My hubby has gone to bed :eek: this is unheard of! It may be because after 6 weeks of barely drinking he bought himself 8 cans of cider today and is at least half way through them!!

I think the canvasses turned out excellently your worries had a hint of truth in them though, in that the tile images are pretty small and challenging to really examine, but the effect of the whole is great so tis fine. I would indeed buy another and in fact OH wants one for Christmas

E has always loved these tunnel games since he could crawl well, but the naked chest examination is new

Edit: Thanks for the reassurance Sami E does like the cup, it's just not quick or effective to really drink from - I spose we'll keep it.

Thanks Sami - I'll have a hunt round for a scarf or 2 for her (I don't own any can't bear things wound round my neck). Those pics are fabulous.

Had an unusual wake up tonight, Katie came downstairs sat on my knee and went straight back to sleep - I'm conviced it was because of Daddy clattering round the kitchen. I gave her 10 minutes and took her back up, not a peep since.

Katie loves tunnel games too, prefers DH to me though as his legs are longer.

Weeeeee DH has been called in for 6 hours overtime on Monday, he gets 1 1/2 plus a call out fee, all money in the pot for booking our holibobs for next year.

:rotfl: I'm up at 6:30 with my lovely little family still in bed because Molly woke up for a quick feed and did the chest examination with such force that I feel tuned.

Gorgeous pictures as well, I'm glad the canvas turned out.

Molly also loves the tunnel games, she crawls in between legs - but the game seems to be that she crawls under legs a few times and then crawls away and the relevant parent has to chase her and go over her, effectively tunnelling her by force :rotfl: For preference, one must shout TAKATAKATAKA while being a tunnel, I don't know why.
