When do you plan to start TTC then Glam?

Yeah it would be fine to take her out for the day MDW... School isn't compulsary until Year 1 :)

Wow PP, it feels like an age until February... I can't believe you're due in April lol!

Hi Nico, nice to see you :)

Not really sure. OH says we could start early 2011 but I think that realistically we would need to wait until J was 2 so that when he returned to nursery we could take advantage of the 15 free hours, Otherwise no idea how we would afford childcare.

Might see if I can make the 29th. I too would have space and a spare car seat for anyone wanting to go - Sparkle, Fritha, Jillie, boo - anyone that could get train to Wazza. 'Tis only 30mins from Manc.
    Or hammy of course

I'm debating whether to cancel one day that I've booked, J is in creche that day so was planning a housework catch up but of course I know what I'd rather do ;)

MDW - I've not even rang them yet and I need space for about 15 :o They have huge picnic tables so am hoping weather is nice so we can sit outside. Katie will have lots of fun cos you can get right down to the water and go crabbing :D

    Congrats! How many weeks? :D

We're not to sure what causes Lilys. The GP said its Atopic Eczema but it can develop to the other one, the name i have forgotten.

DH has eczema alongside many allergies so im hoping Lily doesn't get any.

    Is it Dermatitis?

    afternoon all.

    just read qucikly back.

wont be able to get to the monkey world i dont drive and FIL's car, if DH could borrow it wont take a car seat. have looked and its a train to stoke and then 2 buses.

:(:(:( was looking forward to another meet

There were loads of offers of car spaces so I am sure someone could meet you somewhere, Crewe or Stoke Stations are both close and easily accessible by car.

we never managed to get a blackoutblind which fitted to make complete darkness so I hemmed some blackout fabric the size of the window frame and attached velcro to it. The other 'sticky' side of the velcro was stuck to the window frame, so that the blackout lining can go up and come down as necessary. the sticky velcro is easy to remove from the frame if you move house or no longer need it. Very mse - cost £3 in total to make, and black out lining doesn't have to be hemmed so easy if you are a non sewer. Plus it meant we could have the blinds we wanted, not worrying about whether they would shut out the light of not.

Can I ask if you leave it up all day? I have a Grobag Go Anywhere Blackout Blind which suckers onto the window but because it it a 5 minute job to put it up I am lazy and leave it up all the time. I feel like the neighbours must be talking about the lazy cow who doesn't open her childs curtains :o A velcro option that I could remove might work better for me if it is easy enough to put up / take down.

    Congratulations Pinkpig :T:T How exciting!

Can any of you charting ladies (that have all now run off probably :p) point me in the direction of some easy to follow info on it? or should I just read the FF stuff? I use the iphone app but I only chart my af.
I have a good digi ear thermometer can I use that for charting?
also is there a 'rule' about when in the morning to take it? I'm usually up to feed Ed at 5/6 ish but always go back to sleep for a few hrs again after
I recommend Fertility: Fertility Awareness and Natural Family Planning. I've alse read lots of random bits and pieces online but it's handy to have a real book for reference. The rule is that you should do your temperature at a consistent time each day and it should be after at least three hours of sleep. I'm not sure an ear thermometer would necessarily be accurate enough to detect the change in temperature - I've never heard of it being used. But you could always try it and see.

Congrats PP looks like another MSE baby boom :D

Had a great day out it was the end of the village festival with lots of activities. Had a few cheeky drinks outside of the pub in the sunshine and Charlie made a few male adult friends lol! I think he walked away with quite a few pounds and also filled to the brim with crisps sweets and juice as he wouldnt leave them alone lol! i think he thought he was 'one of the boys' :D
My feet are now aching and theres nothing on tv, babies are in bed so all is quiet! hope everyone had a lovely day and enjoyed the sunshine!

Benjamin and I had our first really frustrating conversation this morning. We were in the car on the way to the CM and he was excitedly pointing at something and saying 'gog gog' (or something like that) and I hadn't a clue what he was talking about :( I kept asking if it was x - dog, lorry, trees (?), hot dog - but he just kept saying no and 'gog gog' and pointing. He got quite frustrated and upset that I didn't understand what he was saying and I got all :( because he clearly wanted to tell me something but I couldn't work out what.
I don't know whether this is any use to you but I used to say to Alice something like, "I'm very sorry but I don't understand what you are saying." when I didn't know what she was trying to say.

    Aah thanks all :)

I'm due on 20th April (so only 4 weeks I think), could I ask for no mentions on my FB please? Haven't actually told the family yet!
Congratulations! Assuming I'm pregnant I'll be due on the 24th (which is Alice's birthday).
