glad the mum test made you smile! it was actually my mum who sent it to me and i thought you would all love it as much as i did :D

mel i hope your ok and you know where i am if you need to chat, i have managed to stick with the medication and do feel better most days. Hopefully an increase will only take a short while to kick in and you feel like yourself soon.
Am so glad you have had a smile as it makes you melt and things always seem a lot better :D Charlie is a monster at the moment and nothing he does surprises me anymore, i have found myself laughing things off and coping better with him rather than blowing up, this has only lead to him pushing the boundries again though?

bruno i have never seen one of they cups and will have to look out for one??

hope everyone has a lovely meet and i am very jealous and wish i could come :( I have a party day at Charlies nursery and all the kids are invited, very MSE as they will be fed and tired out and it will only cost me petrol :D

Welcome back and looovely pics Mel :D
We have one Bruno... It's simple enough... Hold it to your mouth like you would a normal cup, only suck :p

We can't use ours though because hubby lost the valve...

Cheeky... :p was there some assembly trick to make at the time of first use or something though?? It seems possible to get drink out of it as it is but only the tiniest individual drops (and my power to suck is large  when compared to a 2 year old). Boggle. I have even searched the net for "how to" videos but no luck

Aimee will be coming to the meet in her socks I think seeing as she can't find a shoe and is just standing giving me lip instead of looking... Bloody kids!

Think anyone at the Think Tank would notice if I just left mine behind when I go home?

Keely, there will be some at the station I would imagine... Do I have your most up to date number? Mine is still the same so just txt me :)

Bruno, I don't recall having to do anything the first time, maybe the seal loosens with time and repeated suckings? It's not really a fast flowing cup though...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Gill, if T has an infection do you want him bobbing around the swimming pool?

I'm working on the basis that the HV will say everything's fine :) I'm going to mention going to her and see if she thinks it's a good idea and how long I should wait before going. I obviously don't want to risk him passing anything on/catching anything.

I take medication which the dr said may give him diawoowoo so I need to mention that too. I've been taking it since he was born so can't think it would be that but you never know I guess.

EA - it's yours - it's dead easy to clean so will be fine. PM me your details and I'll dig it out later.

Mel - that was me asking, thanks for the info, it's good to have some reassurance. Glad to hear that things are starting to improve with you. Just stick with it and take it a day at a time x Lovely pics - I think T has a real look of you

Almost-topical weekly poll from Martin this week, clearly he reads this thread and picked up on a discussion of a week or two ago!

Thanks Krystal, I shall try fiddling with it a bit I suppose and then repeated sucking over time ;)
Elijah seems happy with it though he's just not getting a drink in a meaningful sense from it!

Brief amusing thing while I think of it - he is clearly dreaming of my reading books to him now :p yesterday I woke him from his nap... he gave a little groan then sprang to his feet like a jack-in-the-box and shouted "DADDEN READ IT AGAAAAIN!" at me :)

Hope you all have a lovely day at the meet and all the trains are on time!!

Mel - gorgeous photos of your two, glad things are getting better as well for you and LO.

William tends to sleep better on his side although started him on his front this week as they say he sleeps better at nursery like that, not that he did much sleeping last night. I think it was after about the 6th time of getting up for him that I gave in and brought him into our bed. Even then he seemed to wake up after about half and hour and have a cry before settling back to sleep.. knackered today and got a busy day as work... good job it will be fairly quiet on here:rotfl:
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.
