MFD, I need to work PT for a little while longer...until next April. (because I've already earned too much money this year to be eligible for the higher TCs & such)

It would take 1.5hrs on the bus/train to get there, so definitely not worth it for part-time, average pay!!

I asked about Trunki's the other day!

Krystal has one and she said it is not ideal as an airplane bag because the way it opens is completely in half so it takes up a lot of room/is difficult to pack loads of stuff into.

I am also desperate for Benjamin to have one but I figured I would wait until he is 2 and has his own plane seat and then he can use it as his hand luggage. Whilst he is still on my lap then it will not be replacing my handbag :cool:


I haven't seen the bags that go inside - off to look....
Edit: Ooo - they would solve the problem...although I might be tempted to buy 2 to make it neat I would buy a trunki that matched the innards I am afraid


My preference is for a Cow :cool:
Edit: well it was...now cow appears to have vanished! Must have been a limited edition. Oh well, at least I can buy one that matches the bags now!

there is a cow one???? We have just ordered Annabel the cow print smart trike and everytime I see anything cow print think of Elle and Rhys!!!!

oh and my problem with the matching bags is that I have a real dislike of the colour of pink they use..........but i may have to bite the bullet on this one.

last time we flew was with BA and Annabel got full baggage allowance to herself it was brilliant - a hold bag up to 23kgs, a piece of hand luggage, her buggy and a carseat if we had wanted. Made it worth flying with them alone. We aren't taking her with us (gulp) when we go in the Autumn and the other trips are going to be by car so I suppose we don't really need one right now......although I m really keen to buy her one with my boots points. That doesn't count as spending does it?!:rotfl::rotfl:

Oh pooo....I just tried T's christening dress on her (while K is napping) and it is too small 0-3 so I will have to take it and change it today or tomorrow, it was from the market and I can't find the reciept!! I hope he will just swop it for me. I tried K's on him yesterday and he looks fantastic little pants shirt and waistcoat set:) The rest of us are all set with outfits and the Sunday dinner has been booked at our local pub for afterwards, then I have just said anyone who wants to is welcome back to ours for a drink/cake after that.....I think only my friend plus family, my mum plus oh and MIL plus oh will come back though, everyone else will probably just go home after the meal.

Ooh, trunkies - we have a Gruffulo, which currently has pride of place in Liam's bedroom. It's the 1st thing he goes for and his current obsession is peeling off all the stickers that came with it. We'll be taking if on its first outing in Sept, when it will be classed as hubbys hand luggage lol. I'm hoping it will keep L & my niece entertained

It is rather large when folded out but I'm wondering if matching bags will make it easier to pull out a bag from the top rather than rummaging for something loose. May have to investigate :think:

Yep, I was going to have the whole after-do thing back at my house, but decided I was getting to stressed out thinking of doing food, sorting the house out so there would be more space downstairs etc... this way everyone is paying for their own dinner (only a fiver) and then just a few people back which will be nice because the LO's will most likely be worn out after it all.

We're good thanks. I'm just taking a break from some html coding which I know very little about but seems to have become part of my job. Liam is still my little star. I think we have tooth number 10 through and I'm convince he can walk, he's just choosing not to :rotfl:

My Mum took him to get his first pair of shoes yesterday, I was a little because I was holding off until both Hubby & I could take him, but ho hum.
