I'm working on the basis that the HV will say everything's fine I'm going to mention going to her and see if she thinks it's a good idea and how long I should wait before going. I obviously don't want to risk him passing anything on/catching anything.

I take medication which the dr said may give him diawoowoo so I need to mention that too. I've been taking it since he was born so can't think it would be that but you never know I guess.

Brief amusing thing while I think of it - he is clearly dreaming of my reading books to him now yesterday I woke him from his nap... he gave a little groan then sprang to his feet like a jack-in-the-box and shouted "DADDEN READ IT AGAAAAIN!" at me

Mel - gorgeous photos of your two, glad things are getting better as well for you and LO.

William tends to sleep better on his side although started him on his front this week as they say he sleeps better at nursery like that, not that he did much sleeping last night. I think it was after about the 6th time of getting up for him that I gave in and brought him into our bed. Even then he seemed to wake up after about half and hour and have a cry before settling back to sleep.. knackered today and got a busy day as work... good job it will be fairly quiet on here:rotfl:

Mostly American but still. Feel like it's very one-sided obviously, but ugh.

Edit: I'm a bit anxious that people will read the link and think that I am implicitly criticising people using nurseries - which is absolutely not the case and something we intend to do ourselves at some stage - I think it just underlines the importance of checking out the place you use, really. Also kudos to the UK checking systems which are better than US by some way.

Kian can fall asleep on his side or his front. Sometimes it looks like he has fallen asleep in the middle of playing in his cot. when he's really tired he falls asleep on his back. sometimes when he's on his side, 1 hand is holding the bar of the cot :rotfl:
