Always - I've had 3 pushchairs - Graco Travel System when she was tiny, changed for an ICandy Cherry so she could face me then our latest one is a OBaby lightweight one as she was too heavy for the ICandy, but doesn't have the stamina to be walking all the time yet.

DH has just put her in the bath to get her clean for tomorrow.

Keely - hugs, Katie and he can tantrum together, she's a bit of a drama queen atm if she doesn't get her own way.

My DH will be too, I've not told him either, as it will be the second holiday I've been on and met up with people from here.

(I met up with Tara when we went to Devon in June)

Can anyone help with hotel hunting please? I have made an executive decision about Christmas: we will be spending a few days near my family in the week or two weeks before Christmas and then heading in the direction of ELSEWHERE for another 3-4 days before coming back here in time for actual Christmas. Any ideas, suggestions etc? I'd like not to break the bank, be within 4-5 hours MAX drive of Manchester airport and in/near a town/city with enough touristy stuff to keep us occupied for the 3-4 days. And with parking.

SS - York isn't too far from Manchester, just over the border into Scotland is about doable as is South Wales and Devon/Somerset way

It's about 4 hours from where we are (20 mins from M/cr Airport) to South Wales, 2/3 hours over to York, about 4.5 hours to Devon.

Sugar, We stayed here for Hubby's cousins wedding... There's a quaint little town down the road with a big park (and usually a fair)within walking distance, near to all the iron bridge museums (hugely recommend Blists Hill victorian town) and the severn valley railway...

Gorgeous hotel, nice and clean and a lovely breakfast... And a swimming pool / jacuzzi / steam room...

Fantastic service and they offer some great deals. It is close to lots of places and we loved West Midlands Safari Park which was about half an hour away

Is it really only Wednesday? Feels like Friday :cool: One more day at work to go but it's the one where I get to mingle with the firemen so shouldn't been too hard

Anyone know how to turn the screen display by 90degrees? Rhys seems to know - he's done it to my mum's laptop but none of us know how to turn it back! :cool: :rotfl: ETA: Just Googled.. Ctrl+Alt+Up/Down arrow keys, apparently

Indeedy we do. It's this one Only problem with it is that you can't reach to close the frame legs once you've got it on - you need another person to press the button for you. If we're together, I close it, but when OH went roaming the Shropshire hills with Rhys he just left the frame open (no crowds to bash with it!) and it was fine I can't use it because the straps don't go tight enough for me, but then I doubt I could carry Rhys around on my back for a long time anyway. Max weight is 15kg (OH is used to carting around 20kg breathing apparatus though so he barely noticed he had it on! )
