Something in your cyber-eye MFD? ;):D

Bah, I am in my office, and although it is good because my minion is nowhere to be seen and I am playing my choice of music and not his my work is not going terribly well and I am suffering an epic case of the cranks. I've two things to do today, and the first has kicked my butt to the extent that I moved onto the second - but that is also not going well, it is impossible to do what I've been asked within the word limit.

I can't believe you are going to have a teeny tiny babba in a few months!!

    Thanks for that!

I'm alternating between excited and terrified of a teeny, mostly terrified because of H - she is so lovely at the moment and really clingy to me. She doesn't talk much (at all) but I think she understands a lot, but she can't possibly understand how much her life is going to change. I'm going to miss our time just the 2 of us as she is so much fun!

Right, off to oil a worksurface.

ea, loving the jumperoo pic - what a look of concentration!

stairgate fixed - we did have a pressure one at the top of the stairs but as we are in a 3 storey house and am up and down stairs a lot, I was worried I (or someone else) would trip over the bar at the bottom so got a fixed to the wall one. Fortunately as we haven't decorated anywhere yet, doesn't matter that the extra wall holes are visible atm! T is cruising everywhere so need all the gates I can get!

presents wrapped for friends little ones for trip next week - organised it ages ago, taking Thomas on the eurostar for the first time, to see a very old school friend in France.

am ignoring the paperwork today but it's a bit like the elephant in the room, IYKWIM and brother is bringing more newly arrived HMRC stuff for me to work through tomorrow.

little man conked out listening to xfm - at least he will go to sleep listening to reasonable music - so about to start on the ground floor final clean - we had builders in a couple of weeks ago and the brickdust seems to be everywhere still. I fear if I stop I will never start again.

    Lovely pictures :)

A bit of a brainwave there - half an hour of effort and a giant mess is starting to look fairly reasonable :j

Have emailed my stuff to myself so can go home and work there after my meeting. It's not ideal because of the noise, but I do need to be able to get up and wander about, not to mention eat some lunch. One last thing to do and I am off for errands, meeting and home.

[QUOTE=always29;35585763My little man is eating his breakfast porridge with his hands and I can hear my mum's lecture on it now as she has a real thing about this, <snip>
Morning everyone! At least the sun is out.[/QUOTE]

Aww hugs Always - you've got so much going on, i'm not suprised you need a rant!

Can you not escape for an hour of peace at some point?

What's your mums problem with messy hands? I thought eating with your hands and getting messy was a normal part of development.

When J was a baby, his reluctance to get messy hands was a sign that all was not right. Tell your Mum if he isn't getting messy it's time to worry. :p

And if it makes you feel any better, the sun isn't out here, it's p'ing down and my washing is out.

Caz We will need pics of the new purple stokke. (So I can smile pleasantly through gritted teeth!)

    Hi Carla & Fritha :hello:.

Jillie let me know if you find a :money:pressure fitted gate. Our stairs mean we can't fit a proper one and our pressure one is
broken. (Stuck in a too small position and I can't shift it bigger).

EA So cute! and she looks so big!

Just had another food tantrum, she only had 5ozs of bottle and started trying to throw herself off my lap and about 2/3 of food then had a tantrum and cried.

As soon as i got her out of the bumbo she was completly fine. Grr to her! :p

this is the pressure gate we're going to have to get http://www.lindamsafetygate.co.uk/flexigate.php as the one that was just in the asda event is too small by 1cm

its a bit more expensive but means it can go to PIL when Kian is there without them needing to purchase one as well. And we can take it, if need be on holiday as well.

Kian, from the sounds of it is beginning to understand 'no'...he cries when i say 'NO' firmly when he is messing with the cable box...bangs his hand on it which cant be good.

ETA--- doh its got bad reviews........

right back to the original one from asda, where can you buy extensions for it??

EA I have this with Lexi all the time still .... sorry probably not what you wanted to hear :p I put her in her high chair and after less than a quater of her meal she is screaming to get out and telling me 'no more'! Some days I can calm her down and get her to eat more, sometimes I cant though and I just have to let her go and then she is all happy and smiles! I found since I have stopped stressing about it myself she *seems* to just be getting on with it :D
I think Lilly will be fine, she looks very tall so that will be why her waist and things have gone smaller.
With Lexi and meal times as I commented the other day its a nightmare, Lilly seems really bright though so she isnt going to let herself go hungry. IMO its a phase that will pass soon.
