we had one at the top but now have one at the bottom as well because he can open the living room door and get up the stairs quicker than I can move out my seat! We now have a fireguard as well because he tries to eat the coal

Jillie what a pain in the behind with ELC Bet there'll be a lot of disappointed people out there.

No worries Som. I found it really interesting but am enjoying just getting on with it now so no rush for it back as it'll just end up with the pg books on the bookcase!!

jillie jas has a similar mat that makes noises, its an in the night garden one, quite fun actually theres a game on it where u have to tiptoe past a sleeping makka pakka lol!! we've all had a go, so funny watching jasmine storm past haha, i'll try and find a linky..

i got some more nappies today as well, god knows where they're all gonna go, picked up the boots wipes as well, jakes been having fun building walls of wipes and nappies lol!!! i think ive got a years worth of wipes now!! (seriously:o)!

LOL - I am keeping my trap shut for a change! I don't understand baby gates, we don't have one and I don't know when I would use one....I have never been in a situation where I think it might be useful.

But I am definitely the minority on this one!!

I don't have baby gates, I have doggy gates

Also have one cheeky monkey still up crawling round the living room. I went to Asda. (No more bargains) at 7pm with Alex asleep in his cot. Back at 8pm and he was up sat on daddys knee. Sigh!

Thanks for the link to the Narnia car seat, it was only down to £20 in store. I have ordered one as a spare, and the graco car seat for £15 also. As Joe's current seat is rubbish.

Now i really need to not go shopping, but need new dummies and clips for the cheeky monkey.

Will attempt a nappy change, some milk and try and get him down again.

Just watched the new Jim Carey film... Hubby was not impressed... A lot of Man on Man action for a non !!!!!! film lol!

here's the playmat.. ive not a clue where is cheapest to buy, i got [STRIKE]mine[/STRIKE] jasmines before xmas when it was a deal of the day on ebay.. was only about a tenner then i think..

I didn't have gates with J & L. V must be naughtier and better at escaping, or maybe i'm too old to be running up and down the stairs after her every two minutes.

When J & L were little I had nice bouncy carpeted stairs, now they're stripped wood so they'd hurt if she fell down.

The moveable gate is also handy for keeping the dog in/out of where I want him.

Mfd, do you have a door to your stairs? Caitlyn is off up ours at every given opportunity, I couldn't cope without a stairgate... It's PITA enough trying to stop her climbing the coffee table / bookcase / toybox...
