Oh, did I mention before? E has got very keen on the potty... not in a fully practical sense I hasten to add, but he fully approves of sitting on it, whenever he has a nappy change now he demands to go sit on it before his new nappy comes on, and he has in fact peed in it (just as a consequence of sitting on it nekkid for 5 minutes I think)!
He is sitting on it now in front of the TV...
We sort of thought that acclimating him to it in a low-key no pressure manner from early on might be an ok approach, and by the time baby02 comes we'd be clear on whether he was ready yet and either get it out the way before or wait til well after, rather than wanting to try it out at the same time as we have a newborn.
Dunno if this approach will work but he is enthusiastic so far! But very early days.
Edit: SS I disapprove of your FB friend on principle, as she has the same first and last name as my wife! tsk0 -
EA - I think thats very selfish of your OH and he needs a good kick up the butt!! Some nights we do the same as you and I put T down in her travel cot around 8ish to sleep till we go to bed. We watch films fine with her in the room, we just have to make sure the sound isnt up too loud. Othernights we're lucky and she settles upstairs. We have done one good thing to help us get out and that was buy a years membership to the National Trust, so even if we have no money we can still get out (its one of the reasons am after a 3 wheel pushchair atm tho!). Maybe once you learn to drive you could do this or soemthing similar, even if OH doesnt want to you can take Lily.
Still no word from the Mura ebay ladyTho I have spied another one now on a buy it now for £135 its only 2 months old and am soooooooooo tempted. Tho its still a second hand pushchair so am in two minds but have kinda got my heart set on one now.
Had to take fur ball to he vets last night as he has had a gammy eye for a week or so now, turns out he has conjuntivitisso that cost us £50! He's a bu99er to get eye drops in tho so am having to get OH to muzzle him using a towel wrappped around his mouth while I put the drops in.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE LOVELY MOLLY & BECLES.scruffy96uk wrote: »I'm being nosey what is this about?
Sorry Scruff, I fell asleep on you last night!
It's a very long story, post #3486 explains all.Morning all. Day off today to take OH to hospital for the gender scan (forgot its proper name)while my mum babysits Elijah - this is something that has not really happened while he is awake and active so will be interesting to see how it goes.
How exciting - does that mean you're 20 weeks already? Will you be finding out the flavour?:beer:0 -

Thanks 3we are in fact 21.5 weeks I think! And yes, hopefully we will be, one less uncertainty/thing to think about.
To those hunting 3's exciting post of last night I cannot help, but apropos of nothing I will ask, shamelessly, those of you who BF (and those of you who aren't, I guess?), how long did it take for your boobies to stop leaking?0 -
I have a friend who still gets a letdown when she cuddles a very new baby and her youngest is 9. I suggested she should go back in time and be a highly paid wetnurse but she didn't like the idea of all the corsets.
Very exciting, Bruno, I hope v2.0 cooperates and shows you the good stuff. And :j for Elijah's potty interest - and for Maz's Henry and his successes too.
Also, apropos of the discussion last night, Fox News is reporting that Gisele Bundchen breastfed for three weeks and then stopped. So I think we can safely ignore her, yes?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

How subtle!
Talking of boobies - how is the feeding (or not) of E now?
Those 21.5 weeks have flown by Bruno! Do you have an idea of what you think it is? Is her pregnancy being the same? I was sick and fat all over when I was having J.
With V & L i only felt sick (no real sick) and just had a bump without the matching fat face/arms/legs/backside!
And :j:T for potty/toilet successes.:beer:0 -
German teenagers are outside singing the Spice Girls "Wannabe". They seem to be slightly unsure of the words :rotfl:
Molly is bored of her play dome and is now unpacking her trouser drawer. Again. Which I confess is a slight improvement on her harassment of the shoe rack and a massive improvement on her preference for unpacking the nappy bin :eek:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Morning lovelies :hello:
It's lovely to be [STRIKE]slobbing[/STRIKE] relaxing at home this morning after our long weekend with the in-laws. Henry and I also both managed a whole night's sleep for the first time since we went away so I feel decidedly spritely today, which is lovely!
:j:jFor those having success at potty training!
Good luck with the scan Bruno, how exciting!
Not much planned today- the usual washing, post office, bank and then getting the house sorted so it is reasonably organised for others looking after H when I am back at work!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

You can either turn left and wait by the WHSmith / M&S that's there or walk round to the left from there and walk past a small burger king and all the barriers where everyone else appears and there is a coffee shop kind of thing and some seating areas...
Thanks Krystal - may I have your phone number please as I may get confused/lost trying to find you!
:j I have booked my tickets :j. I decided to go from Gloucester after all (DH is working in the area so can drop us off and pick us up so no stoooopid car park charges). We will arrive at New Street at 10.45
Happy Birthday Miss Molly
Happy Birthday Beccles
Happy Birthday Amelie
Yay for scans and potty training!
Maz, any progress on the is it/isn't it CP?
Anyone seen Fattybooboo lately?
I am such a bad Mummy, I have given David my throat infection and it is making me laugh. He looks so very confused when he tries squealing and not a lot of noise comes out:rotfl:
Som, have you considered a baby jogger city mini? Me and WIM have one and I love it. I live very rurally and it is fab to use on bumpy lanes and grass.
The one thing children wear out faster than shoes is parents:D
