just a flying visit I'm afraid but I spotted a few :money: things and thought I'd post them.
Home Bargains/quality save have got Peter Rabbit board books for 79p each. There were 4 different ones in Stretford, shapes, colours, numbers and animals. On amazon I could only see them for 1p each with £2.75 shipping for second hand ones, I didn't look on ebay though.
Asda have got there infant ibuprofen suspension for £1 atm. On one shelf it showed as rollback special price of £1.50 then on another it was marked up normal price £1?! I'm sure it was £2+ last time I got some so stocked up whilst it was cheap.
Boots had huggies little swimmers for 75p a pack. I've seen them in a couple of stores the last few days but they've all been the 'upto 13lb' ones.
Gill - I just got your message when I've logged in, fairies will fly tomorrow hopefully!
Susan - someone's quoted you asking about ear defenders, we got Isla's from ebay. IIRC they were £9 delivered and they are Peltor ones.
Some beautiful pics on fb the last few days :A
I hope all are well, I'll try to have a quick skim back before I need to dash off again! x x
Thanks Boo, I need to wait until T gets a bit more regular again before I can try them out coz I'd hate to waste a test nappy on a well lol - we were possibly at the mall at the same time today! I was going to post about the little swimmers too. I ran out of time to go to quality save so I'll check those books out on Thurs.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Kindof - you just need to make sure you credit it every month if it's the regular saver. This has to be done by standing order. I missed crediting mine in July  so mine will now be changed over to a save 4 it account which has a poo interest rate.
Aww poo, so once I actually open it I need to set up a SO ASAP
SS where in the NE are you? just seen your sunderland
is anyone from my side of the water? northumbreland? (I know gill was)
Gill - Sophie is so good for E cos he loves it, he holds it for ages, and can grab her neck or legs and chew to his hearts content.
And E goes 2 days before he poo's sometimes as well
Just had E weighed, he's 17lbs 11oz now

[QUOTE=ManOnTheMoon;35350211We've got to look into getting a 10+ seater automobile, or getting a second car. We keep thinking about it, but we have to act now before baby arrives. Anybody got any personal reviews of a decent sized people carrier. 9 + baby + a spare space would be ideal, so probably 11 seater +
May be we have to have two cars instead. Either way Lucy will keep her car.[/QUOTE]
well here i come in to my own
i have been looking non stop for the past few weeks at cars to fit my lot in and i think i know most of them on the market lol!!!
most people carriers seat 7, there is a mercedes traveliner that seats 9 but from there on in its minibus territory. you will need to upgrade your licence to a pcv for 16 seater i think?
i have gone for something wacky and an 8 seater as i have never heard of a stepwagon before and fell in love with it! it also has a great boot size which is something you may have to look into.
Hope this helps and please ask if you want more info lol!! i would keep Lucy's car as it will just be the 2 of you and baby during the day and would be lots cheaper than taking a big bus out! What's for you won't go past you0 -
There is also this but its boring

Thanks. Boring, but looks solid. That said, no leg space

Thanks. If i'm reading it correctly, i'll be able to drive one, but Lucy cannot - if I am reading it correctly

Wow, I'm pretty sure E almost weighs more than Finn!! Mind, it's only a guess as I haven't had him weighed in donkey's, but the Wii Fit said he was 18lbs
.
VW buses are cool, MOTM! At least I think so and I'm only 8 years older than your eldest :rotfl:top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Well, I drove a minibus about 10 years ago for work related purposes, but not for personal reasons.
We will keep Lucy's car and I was going to buy myself a nice new car, but in reality it needs to fit us all.
As we are fortunate enough to be able to buy a car straight out, i'd like something a bit sturdy.
I can see some more thought is needed.0 -

I'll put it to the girls. I don't want to spend too much money despite having it. It may eb we get something cheap (if these can be bought cheap) and another car.
Too many options, but noine jumping out at me.0 -
MOTM - look here, she may be able to, she would certainly fit the criteria.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Huh? *confused*
MOTM my parents had a VW camper van. It leaked petrol fumes into the main area and almost killed everyone in the back - if you get one get it checked. And remember there aren't seatbelts in the back.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

That would suggest she can. Having looked at paperwork and licence, I definitely can and that link you posted suggests Lucy should be able too.
I will do 99% of the driving anyway, I suspect.
Thanks for the links!0
