Sorry, kindof. I'm an idiot *blushes*

Why not mix some kind of other fruit with the baby rice? I still use baby cereal for Molly's breakfast, mixed with fruit purees.

Edit: I saw the article and think Gisele Bunchen should be poked with pointy sticks till she resembles a rather useless colander.

Some women can't breastfeed because they don't produce enough milk, or have extremely sensitive nipples, or have to go back to work to feed their other children. It's none of her damned business what other mothers do.

    lol your not :)

Ah cool so I should just mix some pear with his rice, I'll try that in the morning

I know, stupid bint, it really annoyed me, cos BF didnt work out with me and E and I felt like a failure already I dont need some jumped up model saying that

Oh I didnt see the woman with 8 babies MOTM

Old VW campers are fab, but have you seen the price a well restored one can command?! We were looking at one recently, £23K!! OH wants to get an original beetle but so far it's proving difficult to find one in our price range.

KOAG - that really riled me too.

Aless - I know how your feeling with the stuck in a rut thing. We're hoping to move but spoke to someone today and we're earning too much for one homebuy scheme but not enough for the other. I'm confused and feel we'll be stuck in this horrible house forever!

Better go, I had the genius idea of bringing the netbook into the kithen to catch up but have now burnt tea!

If you missed it, it maybe a good idea not to go looking for it as it's not a good news story.

23k! I wouldn't want to spend that on a minibus (am I in for a shock?), let alone a Camper!

Kindof - have you funded E's reg saver account at all yet? I funded it when I opened and then they said I had 30 days to go in with his proof of id, and then it has to be funded each month.

I'm getting my money's worth out of my free dental treatment lol. He finished off my root canal today and then I'm back again next Friday for another 3 fillings :( I blame T - I've never had this many problems with my teeth! The dentist says it's the constant snacking I did while pregnant!

I need breakfast ideas E LOVES carrot and pear which he has for his tea, but he doesnt seem to keen on baby rice (cant blame him, its so bland lol) stupid question but what can I give him for his breakfast instead?
I don't know whether they're allowed oats that young but if they are then porridge might be good.
Take no notice - presumably she's headline grabbing. It says she was working again after six weeks - how many women can go back to work and still breastfeed?

MOTM - Just a thought about your car situation...You may want to consider just how long your older two girls are going to want to be going around with you all. I know you won't like to think of it, but they are getting a lot older now. I know my circs are completely different but I never went out with my family from about the age of 13/14!! Obviously you sound like your family is quite close so may well want to all be going out together for a fair while yet. I was just think that maybe an 8 seater would be sufficient for you:)

    xx

It's possible - I did, but then I have a supportive workplace and we had loads of frozen breastmilk and I live close enough to the office that I could come home for one feed a day as well as feeding at 8am and 5:30pm. I imagine she has a similarly relaxed working environment, I picture her turning up with a nanny or two and being able to feed during lighting changes etc.

Edited to add: what I mean is that because it's been easy for her she might lack awareness that it isn't for others. And while that does not excuse her breathtaking stupidity it might explain it a bit.

Gill, the reason you get free dental treatment during pregnancy and immediately afterward is because the increased blood flow around your body can cause increased dental problems. It's not necessarily snacking :)

Its ok :) dont worry about it

Gill - No I havent put anything in it yet, and every month they send me a letter just telling me to take the ID in and it will be open

Susan - He is allowed porridge, but the twice ive given him it he's screamed like hell with bad wind the next day, so I am keeping him away from flour/oats/wheat for the minute (my family has a major allergy to those things, I am hoping E hasnt got a allergy and that he's just not ready for it yet)
