Do you not do your spuds in the microwave Caz?

Write them a strongly worded letter Gill!

I am so angry with Halifax - I opened the regular savings account for Thomas. You have to fund it by standing order (I missed that bit so my own fault it wasnt done sooner as I was trying to do ) every month or else it gets changed over to the ordinary savings account which has poo interest.

I was on the phone for aaaaages Thurs am setting it up and it turns out the person on the phone put the wrong details in so that it didn't get done.

I've just been on the phone for half an hour trying to sort it out. They kept putting me on hold while they were trying to figure out what had happened and apparantly listened to the call where I read out the wrong number (2 instead of 3) and confirmed it when it was incorrectly read back to me.

We had a really bad line so I can only assume she misheard me and vice versa as I was sat with the details infront of me so no way I'd have done this! Funnily enough when the girl tonight read it out she said two and I thought she said three. I think it's party their accents too. Anyway it looks like my account will be closed now as it wasn;t funded in time so I've wasted all that time and money on the phone for nothing
I had trouble with Halifax on the phone when I set up Alice's bank account. It was a really bad line and the chap was really hard to understand. We've got a few accounts with them and suddenly they started spelling OH's middle name incorrectly on the bank statements even though it had been right before and I'm sure it was from when I set up Alice's account. I remember commenting to OH after the phone call finished about how bad the line was and that was three years ago.

Good luck with that. Once you get into drinking the litres they suggest, you won't notice you are doing it, apart from the 78 extra trips to the loo every day.

Kian's christening was yesterday. Jillie hasn't been on, but she did say she had loads of family coming over from Ireland, so won't be on much.

    Hopefully it went well.

Grrrr I already have to go the loo a thousand time a day, the joys of 4 kids!! (and forgetting to do Kegals!!)

I remember her mentioning about family now:)
That sounds like a good idea Mel... It was what I did for after Caitlyn's dedication too :)

Thanks, I also offered to pay half of everyones meal, it's only a fiver each but didn't want to be let down by people who weren't keen on paying...but everyone has offered to pay the full amount themselves:D

red - re the water thing. i found filling a bottle made it easier to drink it and plus i knew how much i was drinking then, i just used an empty water bottle, and filled it up and took it everywhere with me and just had a few sips every so often rather than trying to drink a glass if that makes sense.... and once you start drinkig more, you want it more iyswim xx

I was advised to do this, so might give it a try....

    p.s.....call me Mel;)

Kindof, E is soooo cute! Is he sitting up properly? It looks like it in the highchair pic.
I hope him and Lily can meet one day :D And Tahlie & Guy. We were all pretty much due within days of each other :D

Thanks :) no he's not, but the highchair (its the ikea one) helps him sit up, he can sit in his bumbo for about 15 mins before his head gets too heavy lol he is getting better though, I am getting him to practice lol

I really hope they can too, I just think it would be mint, yeah, me and gym were due on the same day, and you the day before? I cant remember Som's due date but I know Tahlie was born on the 15th march :)

We'll have to sort something out, maybe if there is another one in the kinda middle of the country then we can do that one?

Emlou - I have that series linked,I havent watched this weeks yet bit I was feeling jelaous of them last week, no fights, no crime, no worries really?

I applied for a boots card and the parenting club thing and still havent had anything through

Gill - I would recommend the sophie doll and the amber neckalces :)

Thanks MDW, I'm actually in quite angry at the lack of response to SM's efforts. I know some have given their reasons and that's lovely of them to explain but I can't believe with so many on this thread and looking at the time and effort some are putting in, train from London is amazing, that this is all that are coming?

I think this is a little harsh like, I thought everyone who expressed an interest in the meet is going? or cant be there cos they have plans for that day already? (like holidays etc)

Some have explained, and Red thank-you, and yes I hope some do feel bad as I know about the 'pm' messaging that goes on and am very umcomfortable with it. The majority of people are lovely and need not feel bad at all but this thread has got clicky and it's made worse by some, they can feel as bad as they like but they won't. The nasty remarks that get messaged behind the scenes are not nice and quite frankly I'm way too old for it.

That goes on? really, god thats pathetic, I must be really niaeve cos I thought everyone got on well togehter :( I am now wondering whats been said about me behind my back :(

Well I had a crap night last night, E went to bed at 7pm, then woke at 9.45pm, then 12.30am, then 4.00am, then 6.00am, so much for waking once a night! I think he was too hot, cos the 12.30 and the 4.00 feed he only had 3 or 4 oz so I dont think he woke for food
