Tara I don't know who has been sending nasty PM's perhaps you should name and shame so we are not all sat here (not literally here, there's not room!) being paranoid about what you mean.
SM I didn't realise you were expecting everyone to respond one way or another, I'm sorry but I won't be able to make it. I was hoping to make it to a meet over the summer, I usually can't because of having to get back for school I'll have to try and get someone to pick millie up for me the next time you have a manchester meet.MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -

If you click on the link to download the voucher it just gives you the generic vouchers for all attractions. The "Go Wild" thing is just the current theme...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... agscully - it makes me very sad to see posts such as yours. Most of us on here would like to think we go out of our way to be welcoming to every poster and say welcome to everyone. I don't know how you got missed and I am sorry. Normally there is a barrage of questions for a newbie about eating, sleeping, feeding, pooping and demands for piccies and it is usually me who does it
I haven't been on form recently sorry.

And my friend lives just around the corner from the Essington Fruit farm, she's always telling me how good the meat is!

Thanks MDW, I'm actually in quite angry at the lack of response to SM's efforts. I know some have given their reasons and that's lovely of them to explain but I can't believe with so many on this thread and looking at the time and effort some are putting in, train from London is amazing, that this is all that are coming?
If I had enough holiday I would come but I can't afford to use a day in case I need it if Jack's ill.why is it no matter what time you make your dinner, your young baby knows it, wakes up and causes havoc!?
just as well i made a meal that was still as edible when slightly chilled......
Jack still does this now but like SS said I can usually pacify him with some food.
Well, had a hard day of panicking today as I had got my finances all mixed up and almost told OH to quit his job to be a SAHD :rotfl:
Seem to have sorted it now (I hope), took OH to look at the new creche and he likes it so we are going ahead. It's just a shame he's got nothing to compare it with! There will only be 2 full timers (inc Jack) the other 2 in the room only do 1 and 2 days. Just need to sort out deposit & settling in sessions.
Had a nightmare with Jack last night, he was screaming from 3am to 5amTooth is almost all the way through so hoping tonight will be better. Plan to go to bed early tonight if possible..

Gill - I opened one online but hadnt gone in the branch with his ID yet, will I still be able to?
Kindof - you just need to make sure you credit it every month if it's the regular saver. This has to be done by standing order. I missed crediting mine in July  so mine will now be changed over to a save 4 it account which has a poo interest rate.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
I feel bad now for not saying anything re meet....
tbh I thought when the meets were arranged in a location they were kinda designed for people in those areas to meet up...and i know they are open invites, but I didnt feel comfortable since im a relative newbie and dont really feel like i "know" anyone or like i belong.......but then meets are a good way to get to know people........... so catch 22 in my twisted mind there....
plus i dont feel comfortable taking Landen out to the shop on my own let alone on a train to B'Ham....
New mummy question though - how long a time do you give baby tummy time for? I dont want to over tire him so he gets crabby....
Our dog is really doing my head in today..... to the point where im like i dont know if i can do it with both of them. He's being really attention seeking, i know its a massive adjustment for him and when L is sleeping I do try to spend time just with the dog, playing, stroking etc but then im also trying to get some rest in for myself as well as Im now having issues with DH..... and its all getting a bit ARGH!
CAFC I feel the same about the meet as I'm in the NE its just not practical to travel that far and I'm new to the thread and RL shy.
Re your dog I've totally had days like that but unfortunalety they have been with my 5 yr old childMam 2 Big E Nov 4 & Little A June 10:happylove0
