Gill - I still do it via the Internet so I don't think they realise Its not a standing order. T lives her Sophie I think because it doesn't matter which bit goes in her mouth it's all chewy and for her it the only teether she seems to be able to manoeuvre into her mouth herself. I think she likes the feel too and the squeak is a good distraction if she's upset so for us worth every penny.

PP1 - I feel fine with the decision, it's time for her to move, I'm doing it now so that it doesn't coincide with starting playgroup so two huge changes at once. She'll still be welcome in our room - I'm thinking it's also a step towards completing bf her as it's a slightly longer journey than crawling to the end of her bed and climbing in. She's slept seperately from us on holiday so I know she's happy to do it.

I've also raised the possibility of the the fairies taking her dummies on her 4th birthday in exchange for something she really wants - that's how my mum did it with me.

SM - where have you ordered the vouchers for Cadburys from?

I was doing it onlinw :mad: Perhaps my mistake was doing it via another halifax account....maybe would have been ok from alliance and leicester.

I might have to give Sophie a go as well then...tbh with the money spent on various other teethers etc I could have just had one from the offset His major problem is the not being able to manoevre the correct bits to his mouth so it does sound like it would be beneficial.

Well I think its a good job I was busy today because I've been made pretty darn P'd off by the posts from earlier!
I do not feel I need to waste a post justifying not spending almost £100 and 6hrs travelling in one day to meet others from the thread.
We can't all go saying "I'm not coming" every time someone somewhere is organising a meet, it is a ridiculous proposition.

I'm pleased to report after our visit to Alder Hey; Edgar is VERY flexible but totally normal :j He should start walking normally and tolerating shoes soon its just a matter of having patience and letting him get filthy feet until then Silly super flexi genes from OH!

MDW, We ended up taking jakes dummys when he was about 3, i was quite surprised at how well it went, i had braced myself for loads of tears and tantrums as he used it to sleep every night, but tbh it was a bit of a non-event! he tried stealing jasmines for a while when i wasnt looking but after a while he would go mad if a dummy was put anywhere near his face!
