Cool - my dad's from Sunderland originally and I go there quite often to visit my Auntie. Alice really likes the play park in Roker Park. (She also likes to watch the old men playing bowls.)
ETA - I'm in Durham - I don't really live at Cheap Family Recipes.
Roker Park is lovely - sand and water always a winning if slighty mucky combo.Mam 2 Big E Nov 4 & Little A June 10:happylove0 -

SM, Cadbury world is great. Take a picnic and hope for good weather because there's a fantastic playground that Zoe will love
Although, there's not that many freebies anymore... A packet of buttons and a curly wurly each on the way in, a bar of dairymilk halfway round and some melted chocolate with a topping of your choice at the end... But there is a factory shop on the way out

Morning everyone.
Well, so much for my hopes of a good night sleep after F's jabs yesterday! I was up with him from 12.30am to 4am. Then he woke up at 7.30am... I think I'm going to have a sleepy baby today.
Hope everyone's alright this morning?

Good Morning

Hi Sami  I have missed you all too! So pleased to hear everything is ok with Ed.
CAFC I meant to say yesterday about your dog - I have two staffies that I didnt have when my eldest Joshua was born but did have when I had Lexi and I felt exactly as you were saying you did. I had the whole attention seeking thing from both of them and it drove me nuts. I also told OH the dogs need to go
but I stuck with it and now were a big happy family, Lexi loves the dogs and they love her! Result! It is super hard and its something you can do without at a time like this but what your feeling is completely normal!
Sorry you didnt get much sleep Red
maybe you could catch a nap when bubs does? But then Im guessing your little girl wont let you? People used to say that to me all the time and I was like 'yeah but I have Joshua .... and washing .... and cooking' lol
No Caz not terrible completely normal! What car is it that you have found?

:eek:Just quickly before I retire to bed for the night, would anybody like some of my boobs, for free of course? I am now a proud owner of a big burn where I caught myself getting a tray out of the oven! Just brilliant
Anyway if you would like some just let me know and I'll send it out 1st class post x
You should put sudocrem on it - on a burn, I usually put it on under a plaster so that the sudocrem is there for longer and then change it once or twice a day depending on how bad I think it is.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

LOL - even Schuh misspell the names of shoes!
If anyone wants to find me size 7's of the ones SJ bought I would love them forever!!
Morning all. We all overslept in MFD towers so I am bare-faced  I had to pluck Benjamin out of bed at 7.30 and hand him over to daddy for changing and dressing whilst I ran around like a mad thing.
One thing I can say for this diet is that it had done wonders for my sleeping - I have never slept so soundly, even with a bad shoulder at the moment I barely wake all night.
Pleased to hear that Ed is okay Sami xxplease listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

Good morning all, thank you all for the advice and feedback with Oscar's eating. Am pleased to say he managed a finger of bread with grated cheese (has to be grated or we get it back).
I have had an asthma attack not had a full blown one for 18 months but does explain why I could'nt cope with Oscar, thankfully DD is an angel.
Hope you are all well.DS1 1989 - DD 1994 - DS2 -20090 -
Brilliant news about Edgar's bendiness Sami! You should send him to gymnastics as soon as he's big enough, he'll be a natural like L.3- You will be looking for the footmuff with spots!
I was watching one on ebay, but its red inside and out! And I can't tell if it's the right red from the photos.3 - my step Sis has been intouch so will forward you the details via fb shortly.
Brilliant, thank you. :A3, not sure this will quite touch your circs, but just in case

I'm not sure, but it's worth a try. Thanks you too. :A
No plans today, J is at playscheme so I might just have a walk to the 'nice' park with the girls.
We went to the not so nice park yesterday. We don't normally go there but L wanted to because they've got a new climbing frame. There was a few lo's with parents, but also a bunch of boys on their own, they all looked around 6, and were just vile swearing!
Plus, someone had left a huge poop on the slide and smeared it. I don't know if it belonged to a dog or a human, but either way, dirty bastages!:beer:0
