There have been a few gorgeous parent-child photos recently - Bruno's from a couple of days ago was gorgeous as well. And the kids-alone ones are also very adorable.

Hi Sami  I have missed you all too! So pleased to hear everything is ok with Ed.
    ...
Thanks, we need to get ourselves to a sling meet or something :)

Brilliant news about Edgar's bendiness Sami! You should send him to gymnastics as soon as he's big enough, he'll be a natural like L.
    ......
We went to the not so nice park yesterday. We don't normally go there but L wanted to because they've got a new climbing frame. There was a few lo's with parents, but also a bunch of boys on their own, they all looked around 6, and were just vile swearing!
Plus, someone had left a huge poop on the slide and smeared it. I don't know if it belonged to a dog or a human, but either way, dirty bastages!
We have a gymnastics club in the centre just down the road, i've msg my mate coz she mentioned taking her 3yo and i need to get Chris to more things now i think?
i'm worried i'll be one of 'those' mums that makes the kids go to too many clubs tho :o I was thinking boys brigade through church (he's too young right now tho), karate, gymnastics, dancing. Obviously if he hated it i won't make him keep going but let him try one and get settled in before looking at adding another?
He might be going swimming through nursery from sept too!

SJ - i have tried those shoes on soo many times and resisted

ooh weezl! Hello! :D Great news, lovely photo :D I see like Edgar he sees no need to use momma or any derivatives thereof but will address daddy and brother  they are cheeky little scamps!

  • DD is sooo excited. She wants DH to take off her stabilisers so that she can learn to ride her bike, but I've said that she has to get a helmet first. I posted a 'wanted' on freecycle, not expecting much, but this lovely lady replied and she's given us a really nice Winnie the Pooh helmet that fits A perfectly!
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

Just returned from a successful expedition to B&Q and Ikea.

Dropped DH back at home before heading off to Ikea so Katies bed has moved!!

On our return she went upstairs to see Daddy walked into our bedroom and promptly said "where's my bed?" when she realised where it had gone was very chuffed.

Katie was really good round Ikea, walked the whole way, stayed close with no running off, mind you I normally know what I'm going to buy, head straight for it then out of the door so no time to get bored.

Katie has got to the routine at Ikea though as we were walking past the restaurant she asked if we were going for something to eat!
Proud to be dealing with my debts
    DD Katie born April 2007!
3 years 9 months and proud of it
