thanks for that its good to know im not the only one! she just doesnt seem interested at all and its not putting her up not down. i put her in her seat at meal times when we are eating but she usually sits or attempts to throw her plate when she wants out. im not really giving her anything inbetween to see if she will become hungry and eat but i think she is drinking more milk to make up for it.

I agree with Bruno, a day out or taking her out for dinner would be a lovely gesture, but perhaps not on holiday....

Hello
Elliot has spent the morning with a new friend, she's older (4) but they seemed to get on well, he even gave her a hug and kind of took a liking to her pink cup! Hehe! He then spent the afternoon in his cot recovering from all the excitement!

SM- I apologise that I haven't come back to you yet. I've been away (still am) and I'm umming and ahhing over whether I can make it or not. To be honest I don't think I will make it. Two main reasons really. Firstly I am working the Wednes and Fri either side, then going away for the weekend Friday night so it would be pretty exhausting. Secondly I don't think it would be particularly fair on H to travel 2.5 hours each way on the train then go to Think Tank where he will be in the buggy most of the time. I think that it looks like a fab venue for slightly older children but I think H is a bit too young. I'm gutted as I would like to meet folks, but I just don't think I can do it this time.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Only way I'd go on holiday with family is in seperate accommodation then only getting together at breakfast and in the evening, days would be spent pleasing ourselves.
MFD I agree with everyone else do something really lovely with her just before you go.Proud to be dealing with my debts

I'm feeling very confused too. I'm not coming to birmingham as it's too far for me to drive on my own with a 3 month old. I honestly realise I was offending anyone by not responding so apologies if I have! I dont remember everyone not coming to the Manchestern meet saying that they weren't or why, I thought it was just assumed that if it wasnt your area u weren't unless u said otherwise!
I've also not seen SM get a hard time - from what I've seen she's lovely and friendly and everyone seems to like her. I don't know Tara well but everyone seems to like her too - just look at hen do response!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Thanks MDW, I'm actually in quite angry at the lack of response to SM's efforts. I know some have given their reasons and that's lovely of them to explain but I can't believe with so many on this thread and looking at the time and effort some are putting in, train from London is amazing, that this is all that are coming?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

bad luck Gill - Freddie keeps dribbling and jamming his fists in his mouth too, so I'm assuming that we're starting teething too.
