It seems MFD's favourite advise really is wise :) (and is actually old news, shame most HPs don't seem to know this :()

I was just reading that :) We were shown how to feed lying down at our BF'ing class before LO's were born but we were shown side lying, not the biological nurturing that's being discussed here. I've tried a few times to feed flat-lying and found it impossible for me :( Maybe it just needed more practice though but I easily gave in and rolled onto my side. Anything for an easy life for me!

I used to love watching Erin route around on my tummy it was so funny but not the easiest position to feed in as I had to constantly make sure she could breath.

SJ that dress is gorgeous. I am riotously jealous. What shoe size do you wear?

I'm also very pleased that the name Bastage Camp has caught on.

:rotfl: Molly is unpacking our shoe rack again.

Thanks :) Just catching up and only just seen this, thought I'd reply as your light is on. I am a size 5 foot :)

3, I don't know if you've seen but I included you in the FB message thread I sent to my lawyer friends. There's a very brief reply and more to follow.

Husband and Molly have gone out to give me some relaxing time. I have used it to do dishes, clean the kitchen counter, sort a bunch of stuff and do all my banking. Am I a real mummy now or just a mug? :D

Edit: SJ I am now shoe shopping for you too :D

    Morning all

I was just wondering if anyone on here had declined/is planning on declining the immunisations for their baby? If so, what were your reasons (if not happy to put them on main thread maybe you could PM me).....

    TIA xx

On another note, Little L had his first night in his cot in the other room, and DH and I were in our bed. Had the monitor on so I could hear him, i think i slept better for it, and didnt even ask DH for help with any of it once, including the explosive poo at 4am!!!

I think Im getting good at this mummy malarky....

Desperately need new mummy uniform though.... need more jeans and cardis LOL
And new moisturiser. Any recommendations? I've got fairly dry skin atm but it used to be fairly oily..... I know Im dehydrated though so Im trying to work on a plan to make sure I get back into the habit of eating properly and drinking liquids other than tea and coke!!!

YAY for L being in his own room :) E was in his own room from 4 weeks as well and we have the monitors on, I think all 3 of us slept better for it :)

Gym - Awww it sounds lush :) we are staying in a hotel, we always stay at the same place, there are 10 of us going, that was the only thing I was worried about was getting back to the room for him to go to bed, cos he goes to bed at 7.30pm so we will be bored lol, I think I might buy a internet dongle for the laptop so I can just play on that

Well E had a fab night at my mam's he went to bed at 7.30pm (only had 3oz of milk then) woke at 12.30am for a bottle, then didnt wake till 7.00am now why cant he do that here lol

Ive just made him 9 portions of pear, so he has that and 7 portions of carrot, I want to make him some butternut squash but my containers of pear arent frozen yet and I only have 4 left, so I am gonna have to wait till they are frozen then take them out etc

Afternoon all. what were you all talking about last night with eggs and things ? :rotfl:
    Morning all,

(((hugs))) for bad nights. I've give up completely, Isla refuses to go to sleep then when she does is waking for feeds about 3 times a night. Last night she was wide awake dancing, shouting and cruising around the cot at 11pm! Her two front tooth are ready to pop through though so I'm fighting a losing battle trying to fix sleep atm.

I think it is quite common for sleep to go wrong once they master something new, just because it is so excited. Someone (maybe someone on here, I can't remember) said it is like if you learnt how to fly - you would be too excited to sleep if that happened!

we have succussfully negotaited Venture - we are paying a bit more than we told them we could afford on top of our voucher, but not more than we had decided we were prepared to pay, so now we are getting two pictures in the smallest size. So we are getting two pictures for £50 which still feels a bit of a rip off, but they are lovely pictures :)

And I have two new front tyres on my car. And my parents are babysitting tonight, so we can go out for dinner :) We are going to walk there, so we can drink ome wine too . Luxury - we've only been out 4 times since Izzy was born, but we are trying to arrange to go at least once a month now. We have a wedding in August and September, so no excuses for them!

SS - stop linking to shoes I can't wear... it isn't fair :( (I'm waiting for the winter stock to come back in - I need to replace my poor old boots as they are on their last legs!) I have to wear flat shoes with proper support, and because my feet are so shallow and narror I can't wear slip ons or they just fall off! I have to wear mary janes or something where I am strapped into them. Or boots, but then I get a bit warm in August ;)
