Thanks for all the congratulations
We had a lovely day, went up to Gretna Green with my parents & bro & sis, DHs parents (long story there) and sis. Dad paid for a piper to walk us in at the last minute which was lovely but frightened the life out of the little fella so he screamed the whole way through!!
Meant to say yesterday, wow MFD that's some impressive weight loss, what are you doing to lose so much so quick? You don't look at all big to start with in your avvy.
When's the B'ham meet?
Yay for a cruising David! Sorry his sleep wasn't so good last night Hammy
3 I'm so frustrated for you, what a*ses. Is there a reason you'd not be happy posting your story all over the internet (sorry if this is really obvious)? That might get them in gear as you could do them more damage in loss of earnings that way iykwim?
EA you're so lucky, I'd have loved a lie in!
Kindof I'm sure you'll have a fab time with E in the Lakes, Guy seemed to enjoy lots of aspects of it like sitting by the lake people watching (must be his mothers son!!) and he was really excited when we fed the ducks & swans, they were only a couple of foot away and he was screeching with happiness bless him. The only bit we found tough was being back in time for him to be in bed, are you staying in a hotel or somewhere self catering? I'd def go self catering next time we go somewhere.
CAFC I use Aveeno cream, it's natural and oaty so I'm told, someone gave it to me and I must admit it's really good, also like the Body Shop Vitamin E one. If you're after something fancier, I'm afraid I've no idea
Was really hoping someone would have the Mutsy to tell me it's ok, I'm really tempted to bid on one on eBay and if it's carp just sell it back on. Does anyone know of any other proper 'big' pushchairs that have the reclining seat like an umbrella fold rather than one that tips, if that makes any sense?!Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
Massive congrats to MOTM & Lucy, such lovely news & so glad your girls have taken it all so well - always sounds like they're so lovely when you talk about them.
So since I last posted we've gotten married & been to the lakes for a few daysVery lovely, glad to be away from DHs (weird!) family to celebrate his 30th. Also discovered how hard restaurants are with little babies
Congrats on the wedding and hope you had a great time @ the lakes!
Thanks....I am biased about my girls, but I do feel genuinely lucky. I put it down to fantastic parenting by myself :rotfl:kindofagilr wrote: »Ah I see, I didnt watch that series lol :rotfl:
You missed a lovely winnerYou'll just have to hope she goes back in for the 'best of' weeks and have your life changed by such loveliness
Is it not a bit strange that he says K**** has never referred to herself as any kind of healer? When obviously she has!
I've had a message through f/b from the R**** woman who I made the payment to, asking me to remove the dispute. I messaged back that Main Man had referred me back to her as the the owner of the comany W*******, who organised the camp.
And if not her, who do I need to speak to about what happened/the refund.
She's told me I need to contact G*****, the organiser at the camp.
I asked for a postal address - she hasn't got one! My Ar%e!
Aaaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhhhhh!
ETA: I've just had a letter from The House Of Commons from my MP. They've written to the H******B** camp asking for their response. Impressive!
She's talking out her bottom. Glad to hear about the letter and don't stop until you have what you want.0 -
Morning all, hammyhunter wrote: »Ahhh, my run of good nights has come to an end *sigh*
David has started to let go of both hands when he is standing by the settee and has also started cruising the furniture too
(((hugs))) for bad nights. I've give up completely, Isla refuses to go to sleep then when she does is waking for feeds about 3 times a night. Last night she was wide awake dancing, shouting and cruising around the cot at 11pm! Her two front tooth are ready to pop through though so I'm fighting a losing battle trying to fix sleep atm.
Yay for cruising :T It scare's the life out of me when Isla gets to the end of one sofa, lets go and tries to lean over to the other one to continue her journey around the room. No handed = petrified mummy!
We had a nice day yesterday, OH took the day off work and we went looking at a few new build housing estates. We're seeing the mortgage advisor next week and hopefully will be able to move out of our horrible damp, grotty old rented house to a lovely new, dry, energy efficient so cheaper bills house early next year :j I'm so excited and mentally listing everything I want to ebay/carboot etc to get every spare £ possible
3 - it definately sounds like Bastage Camp are passing the buck. I'm still livid for you and your family over what's happened.
Bruno - I love regretsy! An easy way to lose half an hour :rotfl:Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

Jack went back to sleep from 8.45am until 10.30am
*feels refreshed*
May need a letter of mine vetting by your lovely lot if you don't mind. The Deputy Chief Exec has asked if it's acceptable to increase the fees to £50 from April.
I have a few reasons why not but need to remember who I'm sending it to!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

. Last night A walked in while Dan and I were having 'a cuddle' (we didn't hear her - it was pretty late and we thought she was fast asleep). She wanted to know why Daddy was 'bouncing Mummy':o. Eeeek, I feel so awful. I really couldn't think what to say, so in the end I just said that we were having 'a special mummy and daddy cuddle'!

I was just wondering if anyone on here had declined/is planning on declining the immunisations for their baby? If so, what were your reasons (if not happy to put them on main thread maybe you could PM me).....Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

CAFC - Pigpen has declined all immunisations for her clan I think, I think fishcakerandom has refused them too but can't be sure.
What is it you are worried about/don't like?0 -
It seems MFD's favourite advise really is wise
(and is actually old news, shame most HPs don't seem to know this
