Many many congratulations MOTM and best wishes for a very uneventful pregnancy and birth. Enjoy the summer holidays!

I believe this is what they call jet lag. It's 1am and the baby is howling to be let out of her crib to come out and play and I am fair vibrating with whatever it's called when you're tired but can't sleep. I've made a list for tomorrow so hopefully once the small one stops the screaming I can go off to bed and snooze a bit.

Goodnight late night lovelies. Unless it isn't and I come back in a bit...

    ...

Who on earth buys a stokke and then sets it low so it is the same height as every other bl00dy pram - MUPPETS!!!

    ...
:rotfl:I thought that! The comments were funny, someone said she obviously bought it as a fashion thing it looks really uncomfortable for the baby
I miss people too, but then also wonder whether I am being unobservant and they have in fact posted and I have missed it.

Sami has been quiet recently and I am still waiting to hear how Fitz's dirty night away went! I miss Boo and Henry's 'twin', Isla! I NEED to know how much future DIL is!
I'm here, just busy atm :D I don't think Fitz will be back posting anytime soon tho.

I went out for lunch today, made the mistake of not looking at the desserts before ordering, stuffed myself with mains then saw theses beauties http://lymewoodfarmpub.co.uk/desserts.htm yes that first cheesecake has a base about 1 inch thick!!! they are HUGE and look lush, Its on the way to Alder Hey tho so since hubby has the whole day off on monday for Edgar's orthopaedics app we are going to have a light lunch and then go there for piggy tea on the way home:cool:

I'm annoyed with myself today, I took Edgar to Clarks to see if he would tolerate shoes yet (hasn't previously due to his toe curling thing) The girl was really nice to me all smiley n stuff but she told me the shoes were great etc when I could clearly feel that his toes were curled in them and he shouldn't have shoes on yet (another clarks fitter at a diff branch told me this so I assume its something all trained fitters should know!) I got him to walk in them just too see and he couldn't walk properly because is toes were stuck curled in them and she still said they were great! I was tired by this point (long day) and I don't really do confrontation n stuff so I just said I'd leave it as he kicked up such a fuss at putting them on I prob wouldn't bother with them day to day. I'm now kicking myself because its complaint worthy but I didn't get her name or anything

3 - eep at your holiday!! I also thought of Emma Noble as a 'celeb' with an autistic son but she doesn't seem to have an up and running website etc, Jenny McArthy could be a good one too as she's done stuff in the uk as well as being mainly in the US so could have some influence on the main man in the US
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

And in other news... There's a familiar face on the less than 12 weeks pregnant board... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=35103211&postcount=4953

It was you who leaked :p Shhhhh, we haven't told the girls yet. That's today, so a bit nervous.
motm i do enjoy reading how you and the girls .. and lucy are getting on .. mainly out of pure amazement i only have one little madam and she drives me mad .. congratz .. sounds silly to ask as im sure you're not bothered but do you want a boy? ..

never mind glam totally understand .. but remember we're have for you if you ever need us :) x

You always reply ;) You're very good at replying to everyone.

A boy would be....nice. If it's another girl that would be nice too. The old clich!, of as long as the baby is healthy... and I know how to bring girls up. Despite being a 'boy' myself, I guess it would be different in many ways. Lucy feels the same - healthy being the most important and it's her first pregnancy, so she's just happy to be on the road to being a mum to her own, although she loves her role with the girls, as do they love her being 'mum'.

3 - just found your holiday post.

Sorry it was such a bad experience and you have contacted some good organisations who will hopefully help you fight your corner.

Please let us all how it's going as it develops.

I would just like to say, even though I don't post hardly ever, that even for us lurkers you are all missed when you don't post. ;)

Congrats MOTM, I love hearing yours and Brunos male view point and I know lots of others do to. :)

Oscar's not taken to weaning very well:( anything that needs chewing he thows up but if I give him it pureed he is fine so deffo not the taste thats the problem just the texture. A bit weird to me as Everything goes in his mouth.

Hope all LO are feeling better.

Morning all. Have been up since about 5:45 this morning and we were up in the night too, so I'm nackered today - extra early night tonight I think!
No idea what was wrong in the night - she just woke up in a complete panic, and even when I sat on the sofa and gave her a BF she was still really worked up and breathing really quick? I ended up having to lie in bed with her until she got dozy, as sh wouldn't let me go. Then she woke up in a panic this morning too. I don't know if it is teeth still. You can blame everything on teeth!

Anyway, FAR more importantly, congratulation MOTM and lucy :) Good luck telling the girls, although I'm sure they will be thrilled!
And well done to your OH Bruno :)

Dawn I would give it a few weeks on purees, then try again with some more solid things. A few weeks can make a big difference. How old is he now?

Big difference between being missed, and someone posting saying you are being missed, though :) a comment which applies to Fitz very much too by the way, as well as you, Elle, SB, Lu T even, etc etc!

Please assume that if you are posting regularly then stop, then I miss you (but am too proud/macho/manly to say so very often ;))
Me too. (Except not the macho/manly bit.)

I would love to come but having used by 2 of my 3 days carers leave on the hand foot and mouth situation (OH took 2 days as well), it means I only have 1 day left in case of an emergency  I need to keep some annual leave back to back this up so don't think I could justify using a day at the moment. :(
I didn't think there was a limit on time off to care for dependants.
