Evening everyone. BTW I have decided I am an obsessive thanker too, if I miss one I have go back and thank it, OCD alert!!
So so sorry to read about ur holiday 3, hope u get some justice (nor sure that's the right word!)
Me and DH are going to go to see toy story 3 on weds afternoon, Sister in law is going to have Toby for us, least this way we will be back to put him to bed.
Edit, my excuse for ocd thanking is that I know where I have read up to if I am doing a bit catch up like normal!!Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
Ooh, congratulations MOTM, if you still lurk on here!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

Ignorant question, wouldn't it be a bit unnerving to be on a coach without a carseat? I know it's not a legal req but after all the stress we went through picking 'the right carseat' it just would make me scared of an accident without all the safety mod cons in place
mind you I was even anxious in the first 9 months or so on trains!
Seems E is officially weanedOH got massively annoyed with his BF last night, and today he has gone straight through all 3 normal BF slots with a cup of milk and not a murmur of complaint! Very exciting
today marks the second night ever in 23 months and 2 weeks, that he has gone to bed for the night without BF!
Also I came home a bit late from work today; heard wild squealing from the kitchen and found OH with E in his highchair wolfing pasta from a bowl. He had a big fork and was spearing pasta swirls on it shouting "Stab! Stab! Stab!"When he saw me, he said "Cuggles?", I told him I would wait cuz he had tomato sauce on his cheeks... he cocked his head to one side, opened his arms wide and said "Cuuuuuugles, dadden?" with a huge grin
Once he had had a hug he insisted on feeding me some stabbed pasta while repeatedly warning me "Remember, the oven is hot dadden."
3, I have nothing to add to the rest but I am glad you are doing something about it. How horrible for you.0 -
I wondered that about the coach too, Bruno. I took H in a taxi last week without a carseat- we went all of half a mile and I was terrified! I don't think I could cope with the terror of being on the motorway.
:TOn the weaning. E sounds so cute. How is your OH feeling now?:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
To add: sorry as I can see that could come across as critical, it's really not - just one of those things where I can see different parents have different approaches
And thanks GISI, OH has told me how relieved she is about 5 times in the last 40 minutes so I think pretty goodand not sure if I mentioned but our 'high risk pregnancy' consultant appointment last week was very happy with her health and progress and so she's basically doing pretty well, though still very easy to exhaust. She is getting little hints of Braxton-Hicks any time she climbs our hill home without taking a break on the way up....!

off to offer congrats
thanks jm...prob wont have a portable car seat.... well MIL has a maxi-cosy in hers with the fitted base i dunno if they can be used with just a seatbelt or even if it can be taken off the base unit. although i could forget to give the current carseat back to tesco when they collect the travel system on wed
All the maxi cosy I have seen go with or without the carbofix base but I have only seen the baby ones.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

Has anyone seen Glam recently? I was wondering how Jack's chicken pox is now.jillie1974 wrote: »Glam has decided to stop posting for a while.
they now think the Chicken pox was actually hand, foot and mouth disease as the symptoms are quite similar and the nursery have told her there was a case of hand, foot and mouth as well.
they are both ok otherwise.
Thanks GISI & Jillie, I got a few texts this afternoon so popped on to see who was missing me and what had been said! Yes, Jack has had Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease and not chickenpox which means we still have that to come. We also currently have tooth number 2 on the way.
There are a few reasons I've not been posting, mainly its because I'm busy at work and neither me or OH have been using the laptop so I've not been online. We have had problem after problem at home with the toaster, microwave and oven all going t!ts up on the same day!
The other reason is that I was absolutely fuming that Fitzio blamed me for the row with Becles and thought if I carried on posting then I probably would have sparked an even bigger row by speaking my mind and saying something out of line.
Loving all the recent pics, CAFC and Kindof!
I really miss people who don't post much anymore and it makes me sad when regular posters don't even get missed.
Ah well, time for bed before I get woken up in a few hours - we are still waking in the night *rollseyes*
*slinks away again*
ETA - oh and thanks to Jennynoo as well cos I noticed you posted the other night asking my whereabouts.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Bruno your post made me "awww" out loud!! Well done E, and how cute! Glad Mrs Bruno is doing well and glad she's happy with the end to bf (for now, lol). I also had braxton hicks from very early on, especially on hills and stairs!0 -
Big difference between being missed, and someone posting saying you are being missed, though
a comment which applies to Fitz very much too by the way, as well as you, Elle, SB, Lu T even, etc etc!
Please assume that if you are posting regularly then stop, then I miss you (but am too proud/macho/manly to say so very often)
