....this might rule me out going. Need to look into this again on my day off. Must ask my friend she used to travel to Scotland with her 2nd youngest on the bus and i dont think she had a child seat.

Do the coaches even have seatbelts, if not then a car seat would be no use anyway, have just looked at the megabus website its quite cheap aint it, i might have a few days out using them myself, def cheaper than filling up with petrol!0

as long as the coach is not full i can put him sitting beside for a little while anyway.
there is an earlier coach as well that gets in bout 10ish. would mean leaving hme bout 7am though lol!!
