we knew he would get there in the end.
Benjamin loves small pieces of veg as a snackevery few days I boil up a load of potato / parsnip / carrot / whatever and put in in a tupperware container in the fridge. Then Benjamin goes in the fridge gets the container out and helps himself to little cubes of veg....
....until the container is empty and he brings it to me in tears:rotfl:
Have you any idea how jealous I am? S will only eat veg if they are covered in some kind of sauce or gravy! I tried feeding him salad the other day and he leaned forward and spat each mouthful out onto the high chair tray
He does eat Birds Eye vegetable fingers thoughMummy to

no, but to be honest once he's asleep (at home) i dont check on him for very long. i just open the door slightly and make sure he's ok. havent noticed it when he's been asleep and we're out. i only noticed it on Sat that he was doing it. will mention it to his key worker at nursery tomorrow. as she may hear him doing it when he's asleep'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
CAFC - don't let those comments get you down
I hate how people always assume any thin person 'must' be starving themselves
I know.... its just really hard because I feel like I'm being judged, and that I should be eating more, but I physically just cant or dont fancy it and it upsets me that even though I'm eating the same amount as I was pre pregnancy, its suddenly become this massive issue now that I'm a mum......
And it also upsets me that people think I'm that shallow/unstable/mental that I would consider starving myself to regain my figure....... thats probably more what offends me.....:oWealth is not measured by currency0 -

I struggle to get Benjamin to eat meat most of the time. On saturday I gave him a hotdog (full of goodness) and he took the sausage out and ate the bread....then he found out that if he waved the sausage it bent a bit so he waved it around for a while. Had a bite and shouted Mamma, Mamma, Mamma and spat it out for me :rotfl:
He loves fruit and veg and would eat dry bread cobs all day long strange boy! I just keep trying him with everything hoping that he will change his mind at some point.
He eats very little if I spoon feed him (other than chilli, which he bizarrely loves) he has to be able to eat it himself.
Edit - no-one is more shocked than us that our son likes to snack on veg!!! He won't eat crisps and mostly turns his nose up at chocolate - he is just a little strange!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Hopefully he doesn't when he's asleep as it then means he's doing unconciously which is harder to deal with. At least if he's making a point of doing it, he can learn not to do it.
Let us know what the nursery say.0 -
Jillie - Liam did teeth grinding to the point of making his gums bleed (and in his sleep too) He only did it around teething and only lasted a couple of weeks.0
