Been out to buy some different tethers for T and she seems to like them :) any other teething advice would be welcome.
We never had teething problems but those that do/did seem to swear by Sophie the Giraffe.

Mel, that first purple one is in my online bag so I can find money :D

Amber is having KFC chips and popcorn chicken, I'm doing lalalalala about salt content. Some folk on another forum would be phoning the police on me right now lol! Tell you what, she is loving it!

Had to go out to asda to get flour for DH's cake. While there I had an embarrassing moment. Boys were going wild, I'm there with no make up, slummy jeans, hair in a greasy pony tail, and yes, that is baby sick on my jacket. Heard these guys laughing behind me, turned round, they laugh again and then I recognise one of them. An ex from years ago, like when I was 15. He starts sniggering and said about the extra inches round my waist! Since I never actually liked the fat !!!! and he always knew how to !!!! me off, I blurted out 'well son, I can always lose inches, you however will never gain any *eyes downward* and lets face it, you didn't have many to begin with did you?' Then dragged the boys away before my face went puce.

I mean !!!!!!, the guy is 2 or 3 years older than me, I wouldn't even have recognised him if he wasn't acting like a fanny. DS1 was going 'mum who is that man' and I'm trying to get what I needed to get before I saw him again and reminded him why he was so !!!!ed off with me in the first place (after I told him to get to !!!!, we were still in the same group of friends, which included DH, one night he said something and I punched him in the !!!!!!!! so hard he ended up sick).

So now, as if I didn't feel fat enough (as I eat KFC) I'm depressed at just how fat I am :( So I got KFC.

Som, the boys liked fabric so I gave them flannels. Amber just kind of eats her toys. The amber teething necklace is lovely. |Dunno if it has helped exactly, but her bum was bad with nappy rash and a day after wearing the necklace it has all vanished (I hadn't been using cream either).

Evening all. I've not read back further than this page, so hugs to any poorly babies and cross/poorly/worrying mummires and daddies. and well done to everyone who has learnt new stuff today :)

Poor you Tia, I bet you are still fuming.

Busy day at work - the kind where all of a sudden it is home time and you've not finished things, so it all still needs doing tomorrow. And since I've cone vack this one has been stuffing her face with cheese, so she will be having good dreams tonight. DH is at the pub with BIL (which I don't mind in itsself, but I have approximately 1000 things to do before bedtime, and I was hoping to eat som tea and have a bath too ;) Unreasonable expectations I get into my head eh?

Thing is, he really does have issues 'down there' so I know that what I said will annoy him more than any digs at my weight. I have a lovely husband and 3 gorgeous kids. He has nothing. He lives in a flat share because his mums new husband kicked him out a few years ago. His mum is friends with my MIL so we end up hearing all the stories.

But anyway, I'm going to make my husband a birthday cake. Then going to attempt to do something with a white t shirt I bought thinking I still had fabric pens when I don't.

Think it would work if I traced and cut out each of the kids hand prints in some nice grey fabric I have and sew them onto the T shirt? Even if he just wears it as a jammie top.

Or just leave it.... Hmmm... I'll cut them out and see what they would be like.

Wow, it is amazing what a few days of being consistant will do - Izzy just lay down quite happily in her bed while I shut the curtains, and didn't even moan when I left the room. Back to normal at last :)

Well done:D It is so tempting to give in when it gets tough isn't it!
