They can have nuts but not whole nuts because of the choking hazard.
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

The advice I was told was no nuts under two and no whole nuts under five (the whole nuts being because of choking rather than allergies). I'm not saying everyone should follow all advice to the letter (we were careful about nuts because of OH's allergy to peanuts) but since David has allergy problems anyway I thought I should mention that pesto can have cashews in case you didn't realise. (I gave Alice pesto with cashews in without realising because they had changed the recipe.)

James really enjoyed summer school. He was giggling away with some other lad when I picked him up. The lad is called "Shaun the prawn" but I've still not found out why as he keeps giggling too much!

Mam just picked them up as they're sleeping out tonight. Need to get dressed in a minute and go out for a meal. I'm used to eating with the children around 5.30pm and I'm absolutely starving now!

I love the word munter as well :D

Have a good evening everyone xx
Here I go again on my own....

Thanks Susan, do you know if I should avoid nuts too because of B/F?

I just finished my cake :) Quite pleased with it actually, will post a pic later when the boy is in bed.

Dora hope you are ok :)

My mum popped in earlier for "a good luck cuddle from Alfie" for tomorrow. She seemed quite down and I'm worried about what will happen tomorrow. They are in the right but that doesn't always matter with these things. I've said I will go down and spend the afternoon with my mum as I think the day will really really drag for her sitting at work not knowing what is happening. As she left she'd told me she'd said to the person who's going to court with my dad that "if the worst happens tomorrow, don't let him drive home". That really made my stomach sink, just the way she said it really.

    Sorry for the mammoth post!

Hope everyone else is ok, and not too hot, itchy, tired or anything else!

Hammy - yes early indeed! But her dad had his first at 12 weeks so not completely in expected!

Been out to buy some different tethers for T and she seems to like them :) any other teething advice would be welcome.

The advice was that you should avoid peanuts if breastfeeding if there was family history of allergies but they changed it in August last year as they hadn't found any evidence to suggest it made a difference. They had only introduced the advice a few years earlier based on theory rather than evidence anyway. (I read the COT report because it was important to me to know the reasoning behind the change of advice.)
