The same pr1ck that told me that 'at least you can be a proper mum if you aren't working' has just left a message on my mobile saying that if I am struggling to get to an 8.30am meeting next week then maybe I should consider leaving the house earlier.
Then he asked me to call him back - like hell I will.
I could call you back, but do you get a reception that far up your own !!!!?
What a turd.0 -
Beenie - I think Ed was about Amber's age when we had a couple of weeks were he was hurting me and I was getting p'd off with BF too just as I was reaching the end of my tether he got a tooth through and it got better again
Ahh that's really, really reassuring Sami thank you. I will be persevering of course but it's just annoying and unpleasant.
That creepy dude was freaked out that i am still bf'ing (don't be in my house and force me to feed a wriggly discreetly then loser!!) he was like eh i thought you were only meant to do it for 6m. I was like !!!!!! and mind your business kthx0 -
Mel, dresses?
Erm, sort of! They are dress type things over legging type things, it sort of comes together:cool: I am not still not used to picking girls clothes so am opting for ready made sets!! The only things I have bought for her is one pack of sleepsuits and two shortie rompers.....
I looked at pics of her from the meet and don't like that dress I put her in at all:( Now I feel bad that I made her look ugly when meeting people:( I should have left her in a sleepsuit:(
Oh yeah, I have sorted godparents out, my best friend and her husband, and my sister and her fiance! they will all be godparents for the both kids. They are all over the moon to be doing it, so I am pleased about that.
Right need to get a bottle for the chompy baby and send dh off to the chippy.

Its DH birthday tomorrow and I have nothing for him.
Thing is, he hasn't said what he wants, so I've not bought anything.
Suppose Id better make a cake. What else can I make quickly for him? Big card from the kids. Will make him breakfast in bed (again, he had toast and tea in bed this morning). But he is one of these ones who no matter what you do, unless you bought something, it's not the same... His mum ends up bringing up a load of tat so I'm not buying anything like that.0 -
I never had it but I'm sure I've come across people in online discussions who've said that they had that kind of problem. I'm fairly sure quite a few people said it was the baby being a bit lazy about latching on properly because they had a better suck and therefore from their point of view a proper latch wasn't as important. Don't know whether that's any use but I thought I'd mention it just in case.0

Mel, I love the little legging sets. They are perfect. Amber is mainly in them now due to crawling. A safe dress option is the little tabard style dresses with a plain T shirt and tights/leggings.
You will get used to it hun, I'm sure she didn't look ugly!!! Wheres the pics???0 -
MFD if you send me his number ill leave him a nice little message
