Loads of teeth today!! I might crowbar Caitlyn's gob open when we go to bed, see if there are any developments there... She's been miserable all afternoon...

Becles thats so sweet, it makes such a difference when they have a teacher they respect doesn't it?

Oats, I'm too cheap to buy Ready Brek so I used to buy normal porridge oats and whizz them with a hand blender to make ready brek however she will only eat whatever millie is having at the mo so porridge and weetabix are out the window.

And ready brek has dried milk in which would be soothing on the skin too.

Second thoughts though, I wouldnt like to let it go free in the bath water, imagine trying to wash the particles out of baby folds
An old pair of tights would probably let more oaty goodness through than a muslin, the mesh is a bit less thick.

Yes you did upset me, because you decided an innocent comment I said was an attack on you. I don't do crap mind games like that as well you know.

And now you are flouncing off in a huff and blaming it on me. Well thanks for upsetting me a second time :(

    Oh poor you.

I think you will find if you read my posts that I clearly stated it was not in relation to what you had said Becles. It was Glam who made the link to you. All I did was borrow your phrase of "holier than thou" which is commonly used to clarify my position on the subject. I honestly was not taking what you said as any kind of personal attack. I think it is you who has taken my innocent comment the wrong way. You said you are “sad people on here think I would do that” and yet you think it’s fair game to think badly of me. Who said they thought you would do that? After Glam pointed it out, I responded to clarify that my post was not in relation to you. However, perhaps by then you had “flounced off in a huff” for want of a better term. After 20 mins I decided not to wait around to see if we were still “friends” as I had other things to get on with and had no desire to continue the conversation if I was upsetting people.

I have said absolutely nothing wrong – all I have done is state fact and explain that I wouldn’t judge anyone. I think your tone on this post is inflammatory and childish to be perfectly honest, and I don’t actually care if I have now upset you as you clearly have no desire to be civil to me.

Katie loves porridge - Ready Brek (Aldi's own) in the week or proper porridge at the weekend.

My food concern - getting enough fruit and veg into her, especially when DH is looking after her as he doesn't eat them so doesn't offer them to Katie. If it was left up to him she'd live on cheese toasties.

Yey for all the teeth! Som that's amazing T has one already! Alfie had one almost poking through but has disappeared now. Confused.com. I'm certain it was a tooth though. He's really biting down on everything at the moment bless him, must only be a matter of time before he gets one through. Not complaining though, gums are bad enough biting on a nip!

Ughh I knew this would happen. Didn't have lunch til late so we are only just eating tea now.

An update on my nans living arrangement decisions - I have managed to convince her that an assisted flat would be better than a home, thank god, and given her some phone number of some places to ring tomorrow :)

I spotted your Nan dilema last night while I popped on for a catch up.

My Nan sold her house and moved to a sheltered flat about 15 years ago, after her 2nd husband died - it was the best thing she ever did. She met her next two boyfriends there at the social events (she keeps outliving them :p) and met lots of friends.

She's 83ish now, and losing her marbles (Queen Boadicea was in the garden one day last week!) so a nursing home is looking likely, but she's had more fun in the last 15 years than she would have if she was rattling round in her big house on her own.
