I must be super lax mummy then, All my kids eat the same thing and 95% of the time that will be exactly what me and dh are eating, I don't use low salt anything, but don't add salt!

    Me too.

I took Charlotte to McD's for a cheeseburger and chips on Friday evening for convenience reasons. It's not a regular thing and usually she has some thing I've cooked from scratch for tea, so I can't see the harm in the odd fast food meal.

If I posted that on the main board, there's a few holier than thou mothers that would pop up and say I'm a bad mother for taking her there *insert a rolling eyes smilie*
Here I go again on my own....

But you have to do things like that sometimes, otherwise she will binge on rubbish when she's older as it's always been withheld. And you can't avoid everything, and I personally wouldn't want to! :p Mine don't like McD's but love going Pizza Hut, I know it's the bl00dy ice cream machine. :D

Just to be clear, I am not a "holier than thou" mother who looks down on anyone for their choices. I have just said that the whole salt issue confuses me and I know I need to relax a bit. I am not an active worrier about anything really. I was just sharing my resolve to relax the salt content thing a bit to make life easier for myself.
Although Holly is a bit younger than some of your children, so I wouldn't take her to McDs at 10 months! But if you choose to do so on occasion, then that's fine. I don't judge anyone for it.

Mel - If T isn't crying in pain at being constipated, I would probably just leave her. Some babies can go several times a day, and some only go once a week as far as I know, so it doesn't necessarily mean she is constipated.

She's FF ladybird, I have tried a little tummy massage and cycling legs etc.... And i'm not sure she can have any of those things Tara, she's not even 4wks wks old yet.

Fitz - Yep, she does keep crying in pain:(

Fitz, I wouldn't think for one second that you are a holier than whatever Mummy and I don't blame you for being careful and I certainly would give McD's to Maddy!!! I can't even bear to give her a fruit bag in there as the grapes are whole and I'm too scared.
