 Hi Musogirl, I love your new bag!
Mel, I hope your night went well :grouphug:
Our night was ok until 4 when D refused to go back to sleep *yawn*. I can't really blame him it is still 31 degrees in the nursery. I love the sun but hate it hot overnight - no pleasing me :rotfl:
Did you let us know how you got on at the paed? Were they helpful at all? Sorry to hear you had an early morning. I think it is just so hot at the moment that it's really hard to know what to do for the best.
My mummy is coming this afternoon :j and the plan before that is a lazy one. Pootle down to the small Boots looking for nappy bargains, pop to the market for cheap fruit and veg then tidy up at home.
Ladybird- not sure if you go but Nigel Slater is going to be filming at the Winch Farmers' Market tomorrow (I never know where to put the apostrophe in Farmers' Market, but since it is a market belonging to multiple farmers I went for after the 's'). We're probably going to head up as I love Nigel and I love the market.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

I've never been able to do anything with Molly's flight details on any airline. Lufthansa say that for security reasons (?) you have to do all infant-related stuff in front of an actual check in agent.
Camisoles ARE essential! I'd forgotten, thank you
They also have some really nice cowl-back tops for £1 in larger sizes. Grey, black and fuschia pink.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Thanks for asking, it was all a bit arghhhhh. We have a milk to try which he "shouldn't" be allergic to but it apparantly tastes vile so that will be fun *rolls eyes*. We had a new cream which he "has a million to one chance of being allergic to" but he is allergic to it :rotfl:and we have a new antihistamine which seemed less effective than the one we were using although last night was exceptionally hot so I will try it again today . All in all I can't see our situation improving any time soon

Jenny, no tips here I'm afraid
but try not to get stressed, there are a few of us that aren't in the mood much if ever for quite sometime post partum.
I think BFing plays a big part in it, my DH likes to fondle boobies (what man doesn't)which just made me cringe as until a few days ago I had breast pads in 24/7 and the sound of those crunching is not sexy
Have you spoken to your DH about how you're feeling? mine was very understanding (for the most part)
whilst trying to not over-share, once leaking isn't an issue and baby sleeps soundly things improve greatly
Thanks Sami, Tia, ladybird and others. I have explained to OH and he understands but just keeps on trying. I think I might have to take the alcohol route
Ladybird that tip of the laughing babies really works for Erin. I have just eaten my breakfast without having to stop little hands grabbing my bowl or eating my hair :A
Aless, hugs to your OH, hope your cat dies peacefully.

DORA i did get your text and its no problem at all!!! my phone is playing up after my Charlie threw it so couldnt text you back lol! just let me know when
oh im excited again!
Hope everyone is fine had a few bad days with Charlie but think its to do with me coming back and him not being too happy with me goingi had a great time although exhausting.
I have been awarded carers today and tax credits also have updated so i think i have managed to eventually sort it all out.
Still on the look out for a pram as the £150 guy said he now wants more as they are making good money on ebay this week ggggggrrrrrrrrr. Have been laughing at the prices though as i can buy a brand new set up with extras on kiddiecare for £639? yet they are asking 5-6oo for a second hand pram???What's for you won't go past you0 -
Hmm, I've just been listening to the Gazza interview online. At one point he says, I guarantee he wouldn't shoot me ... with my luck he'd probably miss.

I've had some sad but very good news.
My sister is leaving the city
She got a job at Pontins :j Im sooo very happy for her but i will miss her loads.
She has offered us cheap cheap cheap holidays though. £5 Per person per night :money::j
I woke up this morning and it was 8am, Lily never sleeps until 8am now. So i checked to see if she was still breathing (im very paranoid) and she wasn't moving at all, so i poked her cheek and nothing. I shook her arm and nothing
I had to put my hand on her tummy to check
And then a bit later on she was on her playmat and i looked at her and she was laying very still with the mat over her head.
I flew off the sofa and pretty much ripped it off, it was only on the side of her head, she was watching tv..0
