Jenny, no tips here I'm afraid :o but try not to get stressed, there are a few of us that aren't in the mood much if ever for quite sometime post partum.
I think BFing plays a big part in it, my DH likes to fondle boobies (what man doesn't :p)which just made me cringe as until a few days ago I had breast pads in 24/7 and the sound of those crunching is not sexy :p Have you spoken to your DH about how you're feeling? mine was very understanding (for the most part) :) whilst trying to not over-share, once leaking isn't an issue and baby sleeps soundly things improve greatly ;)

I hate it when I do this to myself...I left her asleep on the sofa thinking, ah she will wake any time for a feed....this was at 10pm! She keeps slightly stirring but then going back off. If I had just moved her upstairs hours ago I would be having a lovely sleep in my nice comfy bed right now....instead I am sitting here getting more and more wound up, wondering whether to risk moving her, or whether to wake her up and feed her so i can go to bed....but of course, I could feed her and she may not settle back off to sleep!!!

I should really have learnt by now shouldn't I?

oh and Mel - maybe DH was trying to let you rest by getting out of the way so he didn't wake you?
    or
getting his rest expecting he may be up super early to take over? :)

hun I would as carefully as possible move her, if she wakes feed her, if she doesn't settle shover her at DH and tell him to deal with her ;)

    Hello all,

Not been posting much this week, but lurking most of the time. A bit fed up this week, so not been feeling very chatty.
Glad everyone enjoyed the meet yesterday.

Hi Fitzio, I hope you are not so fed up now :grouphug:

I got us a little treat that was completely unneccessary and totally un-mse but its gorgeous and much better than our current one http://babymel.co.uk/product.php?shopprodid=37

 Hi Musogirl, I love your new bag!

    Mel
, I hope your night went well :grouphug:

Our night was ok until 4 when D refused to go back to sleep *yawn*. I can't really blame him it is still 31 degrees in the nursery. I love the sun but hate it hot overnight - no pleasing me :rotfl:

I know what you mean Hammy, my favourite weather is warm days and cool nights.

I didn't get much sleep either, so don't mind me, if I just sit in the corner yawning;)

Aww Mel, at least you have a nice snuggly newborn to keep you company. I have a crawling, wriggly baby who loves to pull himself up to stand on anything but forgets how to sit down so I am constantly getting up to put him back on his backside! Repeated at least 20 times so far this morning :rotfl:

    Morning!

Tired this morning. Was going to have an early night, but we ended up staying up and watching the news till after midnight.

Off to boot camp shortly, then got an audit to do for work.

Have a good day all xx
Here I go again on my own....
